Run The Woodlands 5K #19

Despite the best running conditions - clear; upper 60's; moderate humidity - for an RTW race since April, only 16 runners materialized for today's race.

Craig Colmes set a new series masters' record of 17:03 enroute to a two-minute plus margin of victory. Craig's time was also a PR. (The crack RTW photography "crew" was all set to feature a photo of Craig with the results. Mysteriously, the picture of Craig disappeared from the camera. This was probably due to the fact that the race was being held a few hours after the first full moon on a Friday the 13th in 17 years.)

A reminder that the RTW 5K's are run on the second and fourth Saturday of every month. The next race is scheduled for Saturday, October 28th. Entry fee is $1.00 (that's one dollar).
