Overall Results

Over 50 Gate City Striders showed up for tonite's weekly workouts despite freezing rain that followed a day of snow and sleet. 33 of them chose to run the 2nd Annual Trial On The Trails 5K through the mud and muck formerly known as Mine Falls Park.

Frank Cadwell of Mason was the top mudder as he pulled away from Jim Hansen of Nashua in the last half mile to take a 21 second win in 18:41. Jim Rhoades trekked up from Lowell to take third place in 19:08.

Nashuan Lori Lambert and Alice Fried topped the women as they ran 20:50 and 21:28 respectively.
