Average age of runners - 51 years

Clydesdale Division: 1st place - Worley
                         2nd place - Zirbel
(Other runners said that they were qualified for the Clydesdale division but did not enter as such. Perhaps they were only temporarily eligible for that category.)

There were several runners new to the 50K distance this year. Watson continues his streak as the only one have finished all TIMTAM runs so far, and should have gotten a special award for most improved runner, improving his time by about 40 minutes from last year.

We got a rare treat at the finish line this year when Mike Hunger became the first human to finish the TIMTAM on his hands! After running on his feet for 5+ hours, he took a break and finished the last ten yards or so walking on his hands.

Weather was about average for late May - a bit too warm for a long race.

We tried to recycle again this year. We used race numbers left over from Midnight Madness. Pins were from other races. The door prizes (1st and 2nd place winner awards) were actually recycled doors. I put together runner "goody bags" for everyone from junk I had accumulated from other races.

Remember last year when we had three runners with the same birthday? This year there were two pairs of runners with the same birthdays and each pair finished back-to-back. Bob and Steve have the same birthday and Galen and Charles have the same birthday.

My hope is that everyone had a positive memorable experience.

My thanks to these special people who were of such great help to make the TIMTAM happen again this year!!
