This morning, 18 March 2000, in sunny warm Inverness, Florida, runners
crawled out of bed early in the morning to participate in the Shamrock
Scamper. The only complaint voiced, was "the day after St. Patricks Day!"
from those of us who had participated in the celebration of the holiday of
Ireland
And yes the age is correct on the young lady who led the women into the
finish. Actually, she is 12 years old. Broke all the coaches hearts when
they found out she was from Texas.
As usual the Citrus Road Runners did a quality job.
