2000 Roxbury Race #33 4.3M

Roxbury, CT, October 14, 2000

Molina, Dennen Triumph Again

Newtowner Pat Dennen, running in his third Roxbury of the season, won his third Roxbury of the season after a tough battle with veteran Dave Dunleavy.  Dennen and Dunleavy went out fast.  Early, only 13 year old Bryan Kalish could keep up with them, but by the mile, they enjoyed a half-minute lead on the bedraggled trio of Bryan Kalish, Scott Benjamin and Ed Sandifer.

It was a cool, sunny morning, and those who got to the starting line early were treated to the launching of two colorful hot air balloons from the area behind the pavilion.  As bright as the balloons were, the foliage was even more spectacular.

The Roxbury Races are now listed on the Internet both on CoolRunning.com and on HiTekRacing.com.
