Summary of Features planned for '97
- Course closed to vehicles
- 10K and 5K course - both USATF certified
- Water at start, 2, 3, 4 miles and finish for 10K - Start, 2 miles and finish for 5K
- Race Clocks every mile for 10K/5K
- Free quality T-shirts for first 1000 registered in 10K/5K/2K
- Free Tots' T-shirt for all tots registered by April 20
- Happy meals, drinks and ribbons to all Tots' Trot entrants
- Toilets and showers at school and Country club
- Massage before and after 10K/5K
- Clothes Security and Baby-Sitting available
- Saturday packet pick-up 9 A.M. - 1 P.M. at school
- Sunday Expo/pick-up 9:00 A.M.
- Pasta Supper - Saturday night - Hoyts/Entertainment - Country Club
- Cash Prize for Finishers3/1/1 Deep Open/Masters/Local in 10K
- 18 age group Team Level Awards in 10K/5K
- Results/Photos/Story posted on Cool Running WWW at finish
- Proceeds to benefit Groton Summer Youth Track&Field Program
- No In-Line or roller skates, bikes, skateboards, etc. in these events
