The Old Chatham Hunt Country 5K will attract hundreds of runners and race walkers from throughout New York's Capital District and Hudson and Mohawk valleys, the New England area, and New York City.

Lori Hewig has comitted to participating. Lori is from the Chatham area, now resides in Schenedctady, NY. Lori was named New York State Woman Runner of the Year by New England Runner. Lori has high finishes in a number of national events, including a 16:01 5K 6th place at the 1992 Freihofers Run for Women National 5K Championships. She has finished high in such races as the Utica Boilermaker, the Asbury Park 10K and the Falmouth Road Race.
