Entry Fee:
Adult .........................$12.00 (postmarked by 8/27/97)
18 and under ..............$10.00 (postmarked by 8/27/97)
After 8/27, all entries ...$15.00
Gifts and Prizes:
Any entry postmarked no later than August 27th entitles entrant to a race T-shirt.
All entrant will receive a packet ($30 value), filled with useful "goodies", including a visitor's pass to the Shaker Museum and Library. All will be eligible for $1,000's worth of random prize drawings.
Note: T-shirts and museum passes must be picked up race day and will not be mailed.
Registration Packet Pickup:
Pre-race: Friday, Sept. 5th, 10:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. at the Shaker Museum
Race day: Saturday, Sept. 6th, starting at 8:00 a.m. at the Shaker Museum
Awards:
5K
1st, 2nd and 3rd in each group, by gender.
Runner groups: overall male, overall female,
12 and under, 13-15, 16-18, 19-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 and over.
Judged race walker groups: male, female
Team 5K
1st and 2nd prizes for lowest times for combined ages of two teammates in male, female and mixed teams.
Team groups (combined age): 50 and under, 51-80, 81-100, 101 and over.
Youth Mile
1st, 2nd and 3rd pprize in each group, by gender,
Youth mile groups: 8 and under, 9-10, 11-12
Note: No duplication of awards allowed

Directions:
From South (Kingston/Poughkeepsie - 60 minutes) Taconic State Parkway: Exit at East Chatham to Route 295. Bear right on 295 to East Chatham. Turn left opposite Five Points Gallery onto Albany Turnpike to Old Chatham. Turn left opposite Old Chatham House Restaurant onto Country Route 13 South. Follow signs to Shaker Museum (second right). New York State Thruway: Exit 21A onto Berkshire Spur of NYS Thruway to Exit B-1. Bear right immediately after toll booths to Route 9. Turn left on 9; turn left onto Route 32. Go to North Chatham. Go straight, staying on Route 32 to Route 66. Turn left onto Route 66. In Malden Bridge, cross the Kinderhook Creek. Shaker Museum Road is first turn after bridge.
From East Massachusetts Turnpike (Springfield - 75 minutes): west on I-90 to NYS Thruway, Exit B-2. Immediately after toll booth, bear right at the sign, "Commercial Traffic". Turn left and follow signs to Route 295. Turn left onto 295 to East Chatham. Turn left opposite Five Points Gallery onto Albany Turnpike to Old Chatham. Turn left opposite Old Chatham House Restaurant onto Country Route 13 South. Follow signs to Shaker Museum (second right). Route 20 (Pittsfield - 20 minutes) Route 20 West to Route 66 South. Turn lft onto Route 66 South to Albany Turnpike ("T" intersection). Turn left, go to Shaker Museum Road (first right).
From West & North (Albany - 30 minutes)
I-90 East to Exit 11E. From 11E go East on Route 20 to Route 66 South. Turn left onto Route 66 South to Albany Turnpike ("T" intersection). Turn left, go to the Shaker Museum Road (first right).
