The Fitchburg Police Relief Association has given Thousands of dollars
In donations to Hundreds of charities since it's inception in 1961.
Fitchburg Police Association/Union Community Five (5K) Road Race/Walk.
All Proceeds from the race go to the North Central Boys and Girls Club.
Post Race party.
Time: 5k walk: 12 noon
Kids fun run: 12:15pm
5k run: 1:00pm
Place: The race begins and ends at The Cellar, 14 Mill Street, Fitchburg MA.
Distance: 5K
Entry Fee: $15.00 Pre entry until June 18th
$20 After June 18th and on Race Day
Course Description: Very fast flat Course, slight upgrade on Main and North Streets
Course Records: Male: Benjamin Ndaya 15:34; Female: Debbie Barry 18:59
Age Groups: Top 3 (male/female) 12 & under, 13-17, 18-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60- and over.
Wheel chair athletes combined top Three places. Walkers all combined, top three places. Top three Public Safety, Male and female
Awards: Cash Prizes to the top three Male and Females overall. Technical wear t shirts to the top three in all other Age groups.
Amenities: Timing by Yankee Timing, results posted on "Coolrunning". Post Race party, raffles.
T-Shirts: T-shirts to all pre-registered. Race day First come First Served

Directions: Route 2, East or West to Route 12 North Fitchburg. 12 North to Main Street. Main street through downtown. Left at Putnam street. Left on to Boulder Drive. Cellar is .25 miles on left. Plenty of parking.

I know that running is a potentially hazardous activity. I should not enter or run this event unless I am medically able and properly trained. I agree to abide by any decision of a race official relative to my ability to safely complete the run. I assume all risks associated with running in this race including, but not limited to, falls, contact with other participants, the effects of weather, including high heat and/or humidity, the conditions of the road and traffic on the course, all such risks being known and appreciated by me. Having read this waiver and knowing these facts, and in consideration of your acceptance of my application, I, for myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, waive and release the event, and all sponsors, their representatives and successors from all claims or liabilities of any kind arising out of my participation in this event even though that liability may arise out of negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons named in this waiver. All fees are nonrefundable.
