Thanks. Hey, I didn't realize that picture led to a video feed of you finishing. How fun.

I know this is going to sound awful but the first woman that came around the corner, my initial thought was "there no figgin way you ran a 3 anything looking that large"! But then you came around right after her....you looked AWESOME! Sorry, just an observation....great job![This message has been edited by RunnersHigh43 (edited Sep-23-2007).]

Awesome Tonya - I believe this is the start of a great marathon career. See You in Boston. Actually brought a tear to my eye - You've worked oh-so-hard and deserve it.I spent the day chasing friends around the Fox Cities marathon course @ 300 pictures worth. Then afew beers with friends and went sailing. What a nice day. I think I actualy managed @ 3-4 miles running.

Tonya -- all I can say is WOW. And Congratulations of course. Enjoy the moment; you have certainly earned it.Soccer day for me. We tied for the third straight week and after 4 games our records stands at 0-1-3. Today was one of those days when we were not very sharp but just refused to lose. That said we did well to come away with the point. But we do need to start getting some wins to qualify for the post season. Easier week ahead, at least in terms of total mileage. Week 1 of my taper towards the Army 10/Baltimore Half Marathon combo is in the books and I had 34 total miles (plus 15 biking/spinning), down from 48 the week before. This week should be even a little lighter. Off day tomorrow. Have a great evening, everyone.

Goodness, Tonya, what an awesome race you ran! I've heard of people winning their first race before but wow!un-frickin'-believable splits, too. Was the taper madness worth it? Cheers, Billy

There was also a half marathon and a 10K at the same time. I'm guessing she was in the half marathon.
