I was just wondering what everyone's best times were for the 100m, 200m, 400m, and 800m.Can you include your age and sex
I wanna compare them to mine and find out if I am behind, ahead, or average
I would really appreciate it
Thanx :d

I'm 14 and female, just started freshman year. As an 8th-grader:
400 68.84
800 2:33.08

As a 7th-grader:
800 2:41.72

Don't worry too much about times at the beginning, unless they're really bad. If you have any talent at all, you can get better through working out consistently. You don't have to kill yourself in training, just be out there and put in the miles.

You're right runningstar - you don't have to kill yourself at practice - only if you want to be great.

Hey Swedechick, I thought you were supposed to be really good. I don't know. Not that your times are bad cuz they're better than mine, but the way everyone talks about you I thought you were like super fast or something. Some of the people on my cc team can run 2:18 and lower. Okay not to start a fight or anything. Good luck everyone in the comming season! Peace! >=^)

I won gold in all but 100m at districts when i was in 8th grade last year, those were my times last year. Track season hasn't come yet, but i'm hoping to get under 60 for my 400. Being a freshman this year, my goal is to at least place for my 400m, and 200m. at districts.
Best of luck!!

FRESHMAN YEAR TIMES

(I didn't run track in my life before freshman year so that's why I was so slow...)

100m = I'm not a sprinter
200m = I'm not a sprinter
400m = I'm not a sprinter this is also a sprinter race

800m = 2:55, finally something I've ran

1600m = 6:40

3200m = oh god I didn't keep track... like 14:51 or something like that

That's really quick! I wish I could run that fast but it would be hard for me to do a 58 because I'm a longdistance runner. I could do the 800 time this year.
