You're going to like to hear this, but unless you were really sick or injured or in some other way just unable to perform to your best and by quite a bit when you ran that 15:40 then running 11:30 in a month just isn't going to happen. Can you improve in a month? Yes! Can you eventually get to 11:30? Most likely yes, but it will take work and a lot of it. Since you are coming here asking this question I assume you have little to no running background, which means with even a little training you can see fairly large improvements in a short period of time. Of course, in running a short amount of time is six months and a minute is a big chunk of time. (Note: no one can say for sure how much you can improve or how quickly this is just an example) Of course, how much you can improve depends a lot depends on your age, (a young person who is still maturing can often see rapid improvements) current fitness level/weight, (do you run as part of conditioning for other sports or are you a couch potato, the less fit you are now the more you can improve by getting in shape and losing weight) sex, (men are faster than women on average) and a bunch of other things that are just to numerous to list. If you are really interested in improving over a period of time or want some advice on setting up a training schedule many here, including myself, would be willing to help you. ------------------ My User Profile
