And like a [Sly Fox] Phoenix [Pale Ale], rising from the ashes, our hero, 90+ lbs lighter, blazed a trail through the park the likes of which few woodland creatures have ever seen. Being environmentally conscious, as our hero is, thankfully, this brew is sold in cans. Hooray for recycling! *sorry, I had to write something goofy*

The atmosphere is so saturated, that if you opened a back of Sack-Crete and just poured it on your lawn, when you got home from work, you'd have a new sidewalk. But, until this spring, it would never rain. Storms would take I-95 and soak New England or VA or take the Parkway out to sea and F-up the salinity in the North Atlantic.

For the record, we here in PA have it no easier, my friend. I almost prefer the summers in South Carolina to the summers here.

When I wrote that; I think I was the only person here - other than MM - who didn't live above I-80.

I'll take a hot New Jersey swamp over a hot South Carolina swamp any day. In New Jersey, I KNOW that at the end of that road is a liquor store and the beer is cold. If my bike breaks, I can walk one mile, get out of the forest and be refreshed. Carolina??? I'm not so sure.

Running? You keep mentioning running – some of us don’t actually do that – it’s hard and makes breathing hard. In fact some of us consider knitting exercise. *I’m a Gemini – I frequently imply that there are more than one of me*

So since there may [or may not be] more than one of you, does that imply that more than one of you could possibly be brewing beer at a time? Just thinking out loud, really...

I know I'm not allowed to discuss running, and this is as close to it as I'll get, I promise;I'm running the philly distance run in Sept, any beer threader interested in meeting here: http://eulogybar.server101.com/ Click on the "beer" tab, you'll be amazed. I went here last year while down on business, just wandered in off the street, looked at the beer menu, gasped, then hugged the bartender.... Foods pretty good too. Anyway, just a thought... http://eulogybar.server101.com/

How long is this distance run of which you speak, and when is it? I have never been to Eulogy, but the vibes are legendary...

I used to work with the owner of Eulogy - Mike Naessens - at Campbell's. Good guy.I'll be LT-less for the Distance Run, but I may stop by. Ooooh, that reminds me, I should probably register for that.

I had actually thought about trying to get Victory Brewing Company to sponsor a 5k in Downingtown, PA... I think it might be possible, and think of the after-event festivities!
