So a German Pilsner would be un-opened and Una Cerveza non-opened?

Here we go, back into the "Mexican beers came from German recipes, that's why German beer goes so well with Mexican food" discussion. I think he meant Latin (e.g., Moretti) not Latino

Groovy - accordingly many “un-opened” flagon of beer remain in supply, in accumulation, waiting for consumption. Look Ma - no "e"s (other than un-opened)

Not my list sorry, but thanks. I'm not the "Beer Guru" as you put it, but only the "managing editor and archivist" of the BEER thread. The list was compiled in the first week of January while LT and I had sort of a "power struggle" over who would run the thread - not really, but it does sound intriguing doesn't it??? Somebody - who's identity is lost to us now - posted that list in a thread that I had started at ALMOST THE EXACT SAME TIME that LT started this one. In a gesture of chivalry, humility, and just trying to s*ck up to her I deleted mine, but not before first posting the list here.

Oh and your chivalry was so appreciated as a Sir Walter Raleigh type of gesture.

You know, I was really busy yesterday - and will be today - so I didn't have much time to commit to the Beer Thread. But there were moments yesterday when I needed a small break - some sort of outlet; a way to let go of the stress for a minute. I came here, I hit "reply", I sat motionless, fingers poised over the keyboard, ready to make a response... but you know what? I had absolutely no idea what you two were talking about. I read and re-read the last day's posts two or three times, and just couldn't figure it out. What's wrong with me??! You were having fun though, I'll give you that...Anyways, Lisa's working late, so I'm going to pick up a 6 of Dogfishhead 60 Minute on the way home and, err, I dunno, sit and watch Office Space. That's all I got. Carry on.

Okay - quick summary. On Jan-03-2006 02:09 PM, Randymar and I both simultaneously started the 2006 BEER thread. He gallantly (in the style of Sir Walter) deleted his and allowed mine to remain. After that – BEER, boys and butter (my favorite B words). The last posts referenced high-tops (a staple in my wardrobe). Carry on -
