Where on the Active.com website do I find the running log? I searched it a few times and I don't see where it's located.

I had the same problem. Here's the site: http://www.activetrainer.com/
The log in is in the upper right corner.

Thanks! I got it now. I noticed on the manual shoe tracker that you have to select a brand for it to work. My Puma's aren't one of the options available, neither are my Mythos. For that matter, there are a lot of shoe brands missing. There's no way for one to manually enter in an alternative brand. It would be nice if this could be improved.

This is a data farming technique. If a "decline to state" or "other" isn't an option, I say screw it. They're forcing us to divulge our consumer behavior. Seems as if Active is trying to squeeze every bit of nickel and dime they can from its users.

What do you expect from a Web site affiliated with ESPN, which is part of the evil empire of obnoxious marketing. This transition sucks and I'm really disappointed that Active is taking over.

This is total BS. I've been a coolrunning fan for several years and I would often think about how long we could have a good thing and when it would go away. Well I guess the time has come. Another good thing flushed down the toilet due to the lure of the dollar.

This was by far the best running log out there and I really loved the coolrunning website. It was always the first website I went to after I arrived at work in the morning. Now I find out today that it will be gone. Again I say BS.

Hey Gang,

In regards to the shoe brand, we realize we forgot to add an "other" option after we released the tool. Total over-sight on our part and something that has been pointed out by several of our users. It's something we'll address in our December release. I promise that there is nothing sinister going on with collecting shoe data for marketing purposes. I realize conspiracy theories will abound on this, but it was an innocent over-sight.

Also, great suggestion to add Puma and Mythos (I'd never even heard of that brand before). Let us know if there are any other brand names we missed.

Another note on shoe tracker, we are pulling the shoe log completely out of the paid membership features and are making it available to all users for free, just like it was on the Cool Running logs. This will go live at the same time that we make the data transfer available. More to come on this soon.

Cakmakli- One comment on the CoolRunning logs... I agree they were/are a great logging system. The problem is, CoolRunning could no longer keep up with the load. We've already had several incidents of lost data. This problem is only going to get worse. By transitioning to Active, your logged data will be in a more stable environment.

Guys- In short, we're here to work with you! Hopefully that will become ever more apparent.

Cheers,
Chris
