Grunyen13 Member	posted Jan-06-2006 03:07 PM I think it's funny that just having the word "run" int he song gets people going. The songs that really get me moving are hard to explain. (Because it's hard to describe musical qualities) I like things that are uplifting, motivating, forward moving, and slightly mystical. (tinkling piano helps) A bonus is if the transition from the verse to the chorus suddenly "lights up". It's a feeling I can only describe as "generous spirit"- it makes me feel like me heart is going to explode into and merge with the universe. My best three examples are: Alanis - Surrendering Fleetwood Mac - Everywhere Coldplay - Clocks When those come on my body just lifts right off my heel-toe running and I'm hitting the ball and toe of my foot only. I have to ramp up the treadmill by about 2 MPH just to keep up. If anyone is familiar with those songs and can think of things that sound similar, please let me know. I'd be greatly appreciative. I also like listening to Billy Talent's River Below "Into the river below i'm RUNNING from the inferno..."
