First-a HUGE thank you to “Coach Jim.” Really-he’s a good friend! If I never met Jim, I would have never done half of what I’ve done in the past few years. Jim told me to do triathlons, so I did. He told me to learn to swim and buy a bike. I did. Then he signed me up for IMFL 07 because it would be fun. IT WAS! All of my answers to “Why do you do THAT?” is “…because “Jim told me to!”
 Also-to Coach Sheldon...THANK YOU for believing in me! I could have NOT done this without my favorite Hell Tuesday workouts, endless laps and super-secret swim workouts, and hours of trotting around Atlanta. You're a KEEPER!

This will be you by next Christmas. Tatoos can be addictive. I've seen folks get one and the next time I see them they have 5.

WOW. Wow... wow. That looks AWESOME. And the beauty is, so too do YOU! And that is what these tattoos will represent to you, because you changed yourself for the better once, and now you know that you can do it again, or anything you want. So store those feelings away, because all you'll need to do when times might turn not so nice is take one look... and those feelings of confidence will return.Good on you, girl... and damn, keep up the AMAZING work you hot chick you! How did I not know you ran an Ironman? Geez. Congratulations!!! What an accomplishment. I always knew you were kickass but geez! And I love the tattoos. But didn't anyone tell you that the foot is one of the more painful places to get one?  Congrats again.

That's so untrue. Not everyone goes for a full back piece and sleeves once they get a tattoo.
I have 4 and I will be getting 2 more for Christmas. And then I have plans for 2 more later next year.
But all of them can be covered up if I want.
