OK, if I was running with you, I would be at about mile 7 when you were finishing the HM. Do you eat fast too? There would be no food left at the end for me.

Good job. Go get it at Phoenix.

mc, you are impressive. Finishing a high mileage week with no taper you still almost got a PR. Congrats on the 2nd in AG and high OA finish. My daughter and I are contemplating the Phoenix half.

Good training run MC... Sounds like those 40 feet of climb were grueling.

Your training plan sounds good and I'm sure you'll nail Phoenix.

You felt fantastic aerobically and had slow legs? What, are you six weeks out from a marathon or something?

It's a pleasure to watch your preparation for Phoenix unfold. You'll put the rock in Rock 'n Roll there.

MC – I don’t think anyone here would ever call you a wuss......prolly cause we can’t outrun you....

Great racing, especially coming off a 70-mile week. I love all those 6’s (I never see those myself, you know, but they look great on you).

MC,
Sounds like you ran an excellent race, even with heavy legs from a 70 mile prior week.
Congrats on the very high overall and AG finish!!!!
It appears that you are on track for a very fast RNR AZ marathon.
Maybe I will see you there, as I will be pacing the 3:40 marathon.

Wow!!! is right, but ...

well I was hoping that next time you might let us play "pick out the non-downhill miles" for a few rounds before actually giving us the answers???

Good luck in Phoenix!

Holy Carp...
I can't imagine doing 70 mpw much less that string of 6:xx miles! You are one speedy sunspot, I tell ya! And ditto on the red shorts advice. That shows how helpful I am, too!
Will be fun to see what you do after a decent taper...

Man...great pace....even with the hills...You are ready for Phoenix.....

Not going to fast in the first few miles will ace it for you...

Good luck...

Tim,
Ardmore, OK.

P.S. Those are some training partners...

Nice MC... Without a taper and as a training run, this is smoking fast and a good indication that your best and fastest miles are ahead of you...
