Fantastic report.

You seemed so nervous and focused Saturday night, but you seem very focused every time I see you. Your attitude about running really paid off big time and I'm sure you'll smash your previous PR when you tackle your next flat half.

See you in Boston if not before.

WOW Soundie, WOW. I am SO excited for you!! I also learned a lot from reading your report. How to "be in the game" the entire time, with a strong positive attitude. I loved your new mantra.

But, ok, so if you own those hills, could you please sell off some of the larger ones, you know, for next year?

What an inspiring comeback, Soundrunner. Congratulations on a very strong race. Stay injury-free, now, and let's see what you can do next year. I'm thinking that you'll move on from owning hills to owning entire courses.

Of course you grabbed it sistahhh. After your difficult journey in the spring and summer you are coming back with might and I just KNOW it that you are going to "grabbed every race" form now on.

I am so glad that your dreams did come true. I know that my dream of seeing you again did come true at the Pink Door.

Just want you to know that I am your "cheerleader for ever"

Great job, Soundie. You've really made the full comeback, congrats on a fine race. It sounds like the pre race dinner was the event of the season. See you in Carlsbad

Powerfully strong RR...just like YOU!! Congrats on an amazing time on a challenging course. I remember when you were injured and also the emotional hardships you have been dealing with and I believe that it does convince a person of the huge, colossal amounts of strength and determination that they never knew existed before.

It was SO great seeing you and standing face to face before the dinner and chatting, I knew that you knew how I was thinking of you and hoping you were doing well the past few months.

Congrats again and I can't wait to see you on New Years Day!

hugs,
arf

Soundalina -

I'm so glad you not only had the run of the year you deserved so much at the SM but that you had such flare on the hills that were so demoralizing for so many (including the race for first and second place for both sexes it seems).

They are a little longer than Seattle but, with your hydrating/nutrition already sounding just like a marathon, you're going to wonder, "huh, what's the big deal" as you fly up and down the Legoland/Palomar Airport Road duo and coastal series in Carlsbad.

Woohoo, Soundrunner - you were smokin'! I LOVE the 12/627 age group placement. You are an awesome runner (as well as being fabulously gorgeous and brilliant).

Great racing!
