Dove, WOWZA....Congrats on the 09' BQ !!!! You GO girl! Excellent run despite all the cramping. I had a dull cramp in my right side the entire race and it was also probably due to the e-Tabs that I decided not to bring.

It was SO great to see you at the dinner and chat breifly before I got pinned between DH and Tet. We need to continue our conversation and decide where and when our 24 hour race will take place you know I'll be there.

dove, you did a great job of beating the cramps and getting a BQ and almost PR. It's obvious you enjoyed yourself. Congratulations.

Ah Dove, you never cease to amaze me. You've found a way to make them ALL quality runs. Congrats on another outstanding race and the BQ for '09. Obviously a new PR is there anytime you want it. Good luck with the ultras in 2008. (Just remember the rule I broke - don't fall and hurt yourself.) I hope our paths cross some day.

With the inclement weather we had last year not slowing down your BQ at all, I'm not surprised that you were able to overcome even such crippling cramping for another BQ this year.

However, I was real surprised that the frequent med stations in a university medical center marathons only had vaseline and bandages and no e-caps, salt, or anything else. Fortunately, there was an abundance of gels at two or three of the regular aid stations but I think all were before you were struck on the Galer-Madison climbs.

After two years of missing you on the out-and-backs, I'm hoping to see you on one of the trail ones next year.

Congratulations on a sub-four and BQ. I think the SM course likes you!
