Great news Soundie, very good to hear your return to racing was so successful, and a slumber party to boot. I'd probably still be complaining about the wind and rain. Looking forward to seeing you at Carlsbad or sooner.

Dear Soundie,
You are in amazing condition post Sfx! I am so glad this went well for you. Interesting how things worked out re Milwaukee. This HM sounds like one I might want to do so maybe I'll see you next year.

Let's see...description of the beautiful course-check. Omission of "the good stuff" that happened-check. Description of falling before the race started-oops...missing.

Well, now you've seen me at my best and worst and not many people can say that. You ran a race that I can only dream about at this point, and that coming off an injury! Thanks again for the inspiration and encouragement.

It looked long; it read quickly! This sounds like a great weekend. I'd love to meet this group for a race weekend. Glad to hear everything went so well. Seems like you are well recovered. Good luck at Carlsbad.

Terrific race and RR, Soundrunner! For coming back from an injury, you posted a great time despite the wind. Continued good running throughout the fall. Heal quickly!

Soundrunner - wonderful report! From all sources, this was a fabulous Boomer meet-up, and the high winds and rain didn't seem to dampen anyone's spirits. How thoughtful for you to ride back over the course on your bike and add more support to those still running! I'm especailly glad that you seem to have healed up from your injury. Be careful, though, not to hit the ground running, so to speak - easy back into your routine. Great race and report!

There is nothing sweater than coming back from a running injury! Well, except maybe not getting hurt in the first place, but if that cannot be helped . . . Congratulations on your return to HMing. Great time all around. That would include the food, wine and birthday!

Just getting to these reports, sorry to have not responded sooner. You executed this race just right considering the comeback. Glad you had a "Sound" plan for getting it done and not getting hurt. This should be a confidence builder for you. Spareribs
