Fantastic. Impressive last 6 miles! Way to dig deep and go for it. I so love hearing about negative splits in a marathon from boomers and friends. So few actually pull it off. One of these days... Congrats on the 08 and 09 BQ!

Great job on the splits, smart running. Now get that Arf in gear and get her BQ! (Tet tells me Carlsbad is the perfect place to PR and there will be lots of Boomers there for support.)-Dove

Congrats Dave on the BQ and negative splits, and you were saying you didn't do well at altitude. Plus, you got to meet choovie too. Evidently you didn't have any negative experience with the RD.John

Great race divechief. It's exciting to read about a race run so well. I dream of catching a second wind like that late in a race. Nice job on the BQ.

Congrats Dave on a great race. As we all know anything can happen in a marathon. Its wonderful to hear about something good happening the last 10k. Your body is getting stronger with every race you do. I wasn't surprised to hear about your negative split. Boston here you come (again)... The Pink Door is quite the place. Next time stay off the trapeeze.------------------ Good running!!! Mike's Profile

Good job hanging in there. It's amazing that you could pull this off after Gi problems, etc. Enjoy Boston; you sure earned it.------------------ Fortunate--a volleyballer with a running problem Profile

I reserved this RR to read today when I knew I had the time to savor the whole report. Great job Divechief...way to show McMillan that you can run faster than his predictions!!!!. I hope to see you at the Pink Door next month.

This is great Dave.....what a surge at the end...funny how we can start not feeling the best...when suddenly things seem to come back....and everything just clicks.... Big CONGRATS...
