<<<Sniff>>> Ah, yes. I can almost smell the fudge, Tom. Great description of the fudge and the day's events. (Nothing like going to an island, no matter how close, to enjoy the feeling of getting away.)That's a great result for you. Congrats to Ann and Sandy (no walking!) for their fine finishes too. Very nice pictures.

Congrats to all of you,not only a great run/walk,but a fun family outing. The best part about racing to me is seeing the same people at all the races... Good Job!!! Thanks for the report and the pics... ------------------ Gordon My Profile

Congratulations to ALL of the family.I imagine you would have placed FIRST PLACE in family average pace. Not many get to run as husband and wife with a daughter. Isn't that just a lovely location? I always like locations where normal transportation is either non-existant or limited to some variation. That in itself makes you feel like it is a special place. But then yikes....add the fudge. Thanks for a great race report. ------------------ vista129

I always enjoy your race reports and your stories of spending time with friends and family during the events. The course sounded lovely -- good job passing so many people and even a horse drawn delivery truck! Sounds like everyone had a wonderful time!WTG, Tselbs Great photos, too. You all look so very happy! ------------------ choover

I love this report! You’ve included such wonderful details - what a lovely location for a race – and I love the pictures of your beautiful wife and daughter, and of course, yourself. That part of the country is on my list of vacation destinations that our family will eventually explore. You got to see a lot of friends, run a great race with family, everyone happy with their results – yes indeed, a wonderful weekend – great race and report! Holly
