I sort of think ChasingYou was just trying to get a dig in.

There is more going on here behind the scenes that some of you are not aware of. Those defending, I applaud your nobleness. But I would appreciate if this can be dropped now by both sides or I am going to, in what will probably be a first here in Boomers, lock this thread.

Hooo boy-- I go away for a couple of days and look what happens.... Does anyone still run on this thread?

Chasing you---the difficulty or challenge in finding time to run and/or train (no matter your gender, marital or employment status) is looking outside the box; your comfort zone. Everyone on this board has had to find the time. I get up at 5 a.m. 3 days a week... if you told me 10 years ago I would do this, I would have laughed. But I tired of my own excuses for not having time to run: kids, job, sleep, commitments.
If you want it badly enough, you'll modify something else that currently holds a higher priority. glidegal

Maybe I'm not the obvious person to say this, but I think civility is important, even when we believe we have good reason to question someone else's motives.

I kid people a lot, but I hope it's usually apparent that I'm kidding. In my case, it's a guy thing, an Army thing, and the way I was raised.

No one's perfect and I'm sure I blunder across the line at times, but when I do, I always regret it.
