35.4 for me.

Finished Week 8 of the C25K on Friday, and really pushed it, knocking 14 seconds off my previous mile pace. But I forgot to run the last part down my street. I had been stopping at the corner for previous weeks of the C25K, having mapped it out with WalkJogRun.net, and for some reason, my brain was really sure it was time again to stop at that corner. I walked to cool off nearly all the way down the street before realizing that the reason I had just taken 2 minutes off the total distance time was because I had NOT RUN THE TOTAL DISTANCE! But it helped that I did have a better pace, even if I only ran 2.62 miles instead of 2.75.

I have added the last quarter mile to my run map, so will be doing 3 miles in the morning. I'm not likely to forget this time, because I know I have to run around the office building just outside my neighborhood.

Sure hope I can get my butt out of bed early on a holiday. It is so much harder running when the sun is up here in Houston - too hot to push the pace.

43.1 miles for me. Sidelined by achilles tendonitis. September should be better!

Thank you, Tramps!

Disclaimers, etc.
---These numbers only include running and walking miles (and km’s) and therefore cannot do justice to those of you who run by time or who have a well-rounded approach to fitness that includes lots of cross-training.
---Summary miles for earlier months are revised numbers that include late posters. As a result, average and median numbers listed there may no longer coincide with award winners.
---Let me know if I’ve made any significant errors (e.g. leaving you off an honors list).
---If you forgot to post your miles for this month, go ahead and do so now. I’ll revise the final numbers (but not the awards) when I announce next month’s thread.

Does anyone else think it's weird that we hit our highest month both last year and this year during the heat of August? Thanks again Tramps for doing this. You guys rock!

Yeah, you might think people would back off in the heat and humidity but it makes sense because: (1) Fall marathons are popular so you've got to get the miles in and (2) unlike Spring marathon training, there's no ice and snow to cause lost training days.

Even though individuals come and go, the overall seasonal pattern of average Boomer mileage seems fairly stable. I confidently predict a decline next month.

What Tramps said. Also note the peak in March coincident with many posters training for Boston the 3rd week in April.

Thanks Tramps!

Tramps, thanks for all the time & effort you put into this.

btw. uh, my bonus miles. I'm assuming they are somewhere safe & happy in a climate controlled room, just waiting for the right moment. e.g., to bump me to 200. something like that. yes? ;-)
