2nd round of thanks. I genuinely appreciate the feedback and encouraging comments. I'm a normal Joe with modest abilities, but in the last year my running has improved more than I thought possible. My inspiration comes from you folks. Thanks again for the B&B learner's permit.

Well done He-Bear! Congrats on another outstanding PR. You may just think you are capable for faster times but I KNOW you are. Keep pushing the envelop pal. I'm telling you those progressive and fast finish runs are the key. Believe!

I heard they spotted a bear on the hobble creek trail yesterday. Glad that it was not on race day.

Hey Barebot, not that any of us would ever be jealous of a handsome boomerfs PRfs gettinf so much goddess attention but real congratulations have to wait until your official hazing, . . . I mean induction, . . . next year.

In the meantime, I guess your FRfs would satisfy Queen Ilenefs needs but, thinking of our close scrutiny of tamaspalinafs hot tub performance for her half-year early entry last year, inquiring minds wonder what they had you do.

Ah, Tetsujin, sadly the truth in my case is not so exciting. Lacking TammyM's social grace and charming hot tub habits, my approach was more prosaic.

Here is my guide for underage runners seeking admission to B&B.

  1. Keep a low profile.
  2. Ingratiate yourself with the friendly natives.
  3. Use humor to deflect concerns about your age.
  4. Stick mostly to the daily thread.
  5. Once you seem to be accepted as a regular (occasional age-related barbs are okay), it's time to join Tramps' monthly mileage thread.
  6. Brazen underage runners might try posting in the weekly 40/40 thread.

-or-

  1. Host a nekkid hot tub party and invite everyone.
  2. You're in.

yeah sure botsie, if that's what they said to say that it's not asexciting as Tammy, that's okay but hope they told you that secrets, confidentiality, etc. rules don't apply during boomer reunions.
