email me if you need tips on defensive maneuvers to keep Mr. C and that pesky high school classmate behind you.

Cool race, Choover! And nice way to pull off a PR with a tender tummy. You had a great run, and I agree if you work in a few Econo tactics, nothing can stop you! I love the 5 mile distance... not as "frantic" as a 5k, not as much commitment as a 10k... You did well and next time will be even better! (congrats to MrChoover, too, that's so cool you guys run together!)

Choover, very nice PR! Sounds like a great course for one and geat conditions. And they gave away backpack and LS Tshirts. Nice haul.

Choovie,

NICE race. You beat your goal time by minutes and didn't even puke. WTG

What a great race for both of you. Look out, or Mr. C will start beating you.

Wow, not feeling well and smashing your goal time?!?
You must have dug down deep for this one.
Looks like Mr Choovie was not too far behind you all the way. Maybe next time you will beat that classmate with a finish line surge of your own!
Keep up the greta work....
John

hmmm, puking before the warmup, and an 8 minute pr. i'll have to try that.

choover, you're running at a completely different level now compared to just a few months ago. great job, and remember how you got here... some easy running, some speed work, and lots of smiles. keep up the awesome work!

Um, does this mean you "embraced the puke"? (Thanks, Soundie!)

Oh, bah, choovie! You said months ago Mr. Choovie was going to be beating you "soon." I think all those crunches are making you strong. That, along with the easy running and speedwork, combine to smash your PR (when not feeling so hot)! Niiiiice.
