S'okay Rosie. You can edit it in your profile. Click on your user name and go to add or edit account and you should be able to modify. . . . I think so at least.

I'm confused by this.========= Beta Login Note: The beta login will only accept new beta accounts and eteamz accounts. All other members will need to create a new account for the duration of the beta period. ======================== existing members must create a new name? if i create a new TPFD will it work after Beta? if i do nothing will my CR TPFD be transfered over (I doubt it). that's what I was wondering too. "We'll also move your logged data from the Cool Running log to Active Trainer." how when & by whom (who is we?) is that supposed to happen? where's the link if you have a new name. I'm half registered. dg9 is taken, who'd want that? so is dg. dg3 is free. & rhymes. but I'm still wondering, like cragi.

So everyone else is able to log in over there, huh? I'm gonna start taking this personally soon. I even tried registering under a new name but now my e-mail account is associated with the "Tramps" moniker and I can't use it to register a different name. I'm in some sort of cosmic limbo, caught between the old world and the new. I may have seen this on "Twilight Zone" one time.

The problem with user names is that Active.com has had their own membership for quite a while, so many of "our" names are already taken over there. Come to think of it, I'm pretty sure that I have an account of some sort with them, so it might not let me create a new one unless I use a different email address or something. Soooo.... are we gonna be "migrated" - as in they are going to moves us and our data nicely?Or, do we hafta "migrate" our own butts? I'm thinking of sitting on a rocker on the front porch and ignoring the optional call to migrate, then ignoring the mandatory call to migrate, then refusing the emergency bailout effort, and then finally sueing them for negligence. It's the American Way!

Well, I tried to set up an account, and wildchild was taken, so I'm now wild child. I wonder who has wildchild though, and if people will confuse us, and if the other person is someone I would mind being confused with. Arghhhhh!

Chovie, yes you can disable the email notification option. But, for the life of me, I can't find where again. Check your profile options, maybe it was there and I can't see it any more because i clicked it to off. . . Egret

go to your profile and there will be an option to edit preferences. On that screen, you can click "no" to be notified via email of responses on threads.

I think I might be in the same fix as Tramps. I registered, but it's been a half hour and I haven't seen the email arrive that I need in order to confirm it. And that probably means that I can't try to re-register with the same name...------------------ - Runnin' in Rochester Rochrunner

I actually just changed mine to "no" but even when I had everything set to "yes" I wasn't getting anything in my email. At least not yet. I imagine it's just a glitch in that system that still needs to be ironed out. Who knows, later today I might receive a plethora of messages.
