Wow, a lot of high mileage this month! I'll do my part to bring the average down - 17.4 miles for me in July. But the low mileage is due to vacation, not injury, so it's OK by me! I just got back yesterday from a 3 week vacation in Alaska, where I walked/hiked/backpacked a total of 80 miles with DH and DD. Thanks for being guest host, MS.

My Garmin says I covered 27.85 miles in July. I know I did at least 2.15 on the TM at physical therapy, so put me in for 30 miles walking and running (mostly walking).

July was also a good month for me. I had many "first time events" in my running life.In July I ran 117 miles which is a PR; I ran my first relay ever; I ran my first race wearing mariposai wings (thanks Tet); I ran my first 10 mile trail run in 1:58:00; and I ran my first untimed 5k barefoot.

I knew it was an off month, but didn't realize quite how far off. Max and I both were rather immobile. Mine due to sore legs and his due to heat. I did get some bike miles in.Running: 24.1 miles Walking: 11.9 miles YEAR TOTALS Running: 256.5 miles someone's got to anchor the bottom of the list. Thanks to MS for your capable filling in. Kevin

MustangSally is possibly even meaner and more kick-@$$ than Econo, so y'all better do whatever she says. Both of these gals were born to compete in Roller Derby. I think Sally is the one at front left, and Econo at front right: ETA: I think that's fredurie in drag at back left; not sure about the person at back right. Starr - I just posted (but then promptly deleted) a post calling you a "slacker" for only doing 18 miles - BECAUSE I thought I was on the daily thread and you did "just 18 miles" today - so I was sort of poking fun at being such a slacker with your 18 mile run. But then when I saw I was on the mileage thread, I promptly kicked myself and deleted the post. But in case you saw my response before deleting, I wanted to apologize because I wasn't really calling you a slacker in all seriousness . . . and now that I've just explained all that, I guess I really didn't need to delete it! LOL
