wildchild Cool Runner	posted Aug-01-2007 02:00 PM Wow, a lot of high mileage this month! I'll do my part to bring the average down - 17.4 miles for me in July. But the low mileage is due to vacation, not injury, so it's OK by me! I just got back yesterday from a 3 week vacation in Alaska, where I walked/hiked/backpacked a total of 80 miles with DH and DD. mariposai Cool Runner	posted Aug-01-2007 03:26 PM July was also a good month for me. I had many "first time events" in my running life. In July I ran 117 miles which is a PR; I ran my first relay ever; I ran my first race wearing mariposai wings (thanks Tet); I ran my first 10 mile trail run in 1:58:00; and I ran my first untimed 5k barefoot. I did get some bike miles in. Running: 24.1 miles Walking: 11.9 miles YEAR TOTALS Running: 256.5 miles someone's got to anchor the bottom of the list. Thanks to MS for your capable filling in. TammyM Cool Runner	posted Aug-02-2007 04:53 PM Starr - I just posted (but then promptly deleted) a post calling you a "slacker" for only doing 18 miles - BECAUSE I thought I was on the daily thread and you did "just 18 miles" today - so I was sort of poking fun at being such a slacker with your 18 mile run. But then when I saw I was on the mileage thread, I promptly kicked myself and deleted the post. But in case you saw my response before deleting, I wanted to apologize because I wasn't really calling you a slacker in all seriousness . . . and now that I've just explained all that, I guess I really didn't need to delete it!
