---> First Half of '07: 712

One half 'thon; one run up a mountain. Planning a low-key second half o' the year with little if any racing and mileage in the 20-25 mpw range. Just running for the sheer joy of it. . . . .

^^ Danke schön, Herr Trampsteen. Excellent pic and quote ! ^^

Only 71.1 miles running in June. 366.0 miles YTD.
1 race PR - 1:00:47 for 7.5 miles. That's a PR because it's the first time I've ever raced that distance.

Hey Tramps.

I was out of town for the weekend, so am posting late.

A measly 70 miles for June. I'm on the DL with a hip injury.

Hi Tramps.
thanks again for doing this.
don't let anyone make your head explode.
maybe an additional thread for additional marvelous methods of movement? by a motivated movement method maverick?

ok, 55.6 miles this month. I think that is a pr but I'd rather you kept quiet about it. I should feel good about it for me (working on that one) and probably will soon. but still. I'm not sure, anyway. November. my miles were less per run but I ran 6 days a week. I will be quiet now.

I think y.t.d. is 197.6. didn't record Feb. but it was 7 or 8 ish.

Jem, woohoo!!!

[unquiet] eta, many untracked walking miles, esp. ytd. [/unquiet]

Well, somehow in fighting the CR site, I posted 3 times. Thinking I should delete a couple, so people would accuse me of triple -dipping, all 3 seem to have disappeared.

So, one more attempt to post my measly miles.

Running: 30.3 miles due to nagging injuries once again.

Walking: 15.0 miles Max the wonder dog had an off month, too, what with owner neglect (see above) and a week of high temps.

YEAR TOTALS
Running: 232.4 miles I know it's what some of the upper echelon do in a month, but still a bit more than I expected after several sub-par months.

Thanks for tabulating and I look forward to the results.

Tramps, I love this quote! How true it is. I also appreciate that you said
No matter how few or how many miles you have, please post! Every mile is an accomplishment.
Every mile seems to be a struggle for me for one reason or another, so I can relate to this and hope others do too. I didn't even post my May miles even though all 18 of them were an accomplishment. (I would really like to be "average" someday, but will just strive for consistency this month).

Total Mileage for June: 37.69 miles
Year-to-Date: 175 miles
Milestones: I was on vacation last week and logged my 1,000th mile while running on the Heartland Trail . I didn't realize it until I was updating my log when I got home!

Hi

28.7 miles in June.

I spent the last two weeks in Peru and only had time for one run though I did hike a bit and lost 6 pounds in the process.

47 miles per month average this year compared to 75 miles per month in 2006.

New York City marathon training starts this week!

Disclaimers, etc.
---These numbers only include running and walking miles (and km’s) and therefore cannot do justice to those of you who run by time or who have a well-rounded approach to fitness that includes lots of cross-training.
---Summary miles for earlier months are revised numbers that include late posters. As a result, average and median numbers listed there may no longer coincide with award winners.
---Let me know if I’ve made any significant errors (e.g. leaving you off an honors list).
---If you forgot to post your miles for this month, go ahead and do so now. I’ll revise the final numbers (but not the awards) when I announce next month’s thread.

Thanks Tramps for all the work you put into this month after month. It is really one of the highlights for me on this board - seeing all those stats!

I see that I forgot to mention my 5K PR time - it's 26:28 if you want to add that in.

Thanks again.
