arfiaultralina - this is the run of cenutry so far and should not only garner you the distance boomie but also the gel boomie too. Me too on the electrolyte tabs, . . . never cramp since. You're always temping us guys and it's almost like we did it too but, if tall does one, count me in too.

I got tingles at the end of your RR when you wrote your message on your arm to keep you going. What an amazing run - something so totally beyond what I could ever do and I'm in awe with your abilities. You truly have a gift. I need to learn to read more slowly though because when I read "3 aid stations on the loop with fruit, . . . ." - I read that as "3 aid stations with fruit loops" - and I thought what an odd thing to have at an aid station?!

Most days I find it difficult to stay awake for over 12 hours....to be in motion continuously for over 12 hours.....to be running for over 12 hours. Arf, your mental toughness is certainly superior....nice that the body followed your plan and responded well also.....amazing, just amazing.Good running Arf. Jim

Arf, I agree with Jim. You ran so well because you trained, prepared, and were well aware of your nutritional and electrolytical needs... (is that a word?) Anyway, congratulations on meeting your goal and achieving your dream!Excellent!

...LOL. I thought that I read the thead title incorrectly...100K not 10. I'm speechless. It's also pretty cool that if you were wearing a Garmin 205/305, you would have worn it out with only a 10 hour battery life. Congrats on your accomplishment!

Wow ...after 100k, blisters and everything, you're back to racing big time in 3 weeks! Awesome! And to think it takes me 5-6 months to get ready to run 42k. You truly are an amazing runner! PJ

Arf,I'm truly in awe over this. 100K is a hugh dream (and a hugh distance) and I'm very happy for you. I know how much this meant to you. It seems that your race planning, fuel and hydration were spot on. The only question now is: where do you go from here? Wherever and whatever it is I wish you the best. Tom
