Ha! First time I have burst out laughing reading a race report. This was hysterical. Pushing little kids for heaven's sake! Econo, you really have a knack for writing. Nice going on the AG placement too. I see more and longer tris in your future. Spareribs

Fortunately my kids are too big, too busy competing themselves and too advanced in tkd to be pushed out of anyones way.

Iron Econo!Excellent! Written with grit and flair, just like your swim, bike, and run and T's! Congratulations. It's been fun watching you progress and improve and expand your horizons these past couple years. Very nice.

What a great disciple you are my dear friend Econo. I can just picture you thinking before every challenge WWSRD? (What Would SpareRibs Do?) and did exactly what he would have done (push kids aside, rip off shirt, argue with volunteers, etc) Congratulations on your fantastic race and report. I bow to you my Queen. We sure missed you aroung here. ------------------ Most people run a race to see who is fastest. Econo,I particularly liked the image of you pushing the little kids out of your way. As W.C. Fields so eloquently said: anyone who hates little kids and dogs can't be all bad. (Just kidding) It sounds like you had a fine time and came home with a lavish prize. Congratulations. When can we expect the Econo Iron Man debut? Tom

You did good, great report I really enjoyed it. LOL ------------------ My User Profile "Keep on Running" Bob

Econo, tri veteran, way to go on the 2nd place finish. Nice to see you are working on the pool exit! Since you were swimming blind you are all set for an open water swim.

Econo,I'm hopelessly behind in reading B&B race reports, but I had to catch up to this report by my favorite trigrrl. Nice work as usual. Your racing style is as subtle as the Russian Army advancing on Berlin: knock down and roll over everything in your way. I'm with the Boomer gods who would like photos, especially of your quick-change transitions. Purely from interest in your fashion choices.
