Way to go Tom with a PR on the 5K!!
It is nice to hear that you were able to participate in this memorial race for one of your former students. I'm sure that the day was filled with lots of emotion.
Marlette sounds like a really nice place to run.

Nice run, Tom! Running a race is similar to life. We want to run the best race that we can. I'm sure that's what Cheryl did while she was here. Congrats on remembering through your participation.

Tom, it's a tossup as to which RRs I look forward to more, yours or smpankowski's. (this would be for slightly different reason, of course) Races are fun and pretty social, even if you don't know many people there, but I hope that I will be able to run in some like you do, and have half as good a time.Excellent running and socializing for a good and deserving cause.

WTG Tom! These are definitely the best races... for a good cause and in memory of someone you knew; and a PR to boot! And I agree... the Garmin was so close, I'd call that right spot on for mine... but it's a chronic liar! Thanks for the RR, it was great.------------------
