I love reading a Boston report from the perspective of a speedster up in the front! You had a greta race, congrats on hammering through those miles. By the time us slow-pokies reached the baggage buses, it seems that they must have ironed out their system. It wasn't too bad for us...it sounded just terrible for you guys! You made a wise choice to get warmed up first and then go back to retrieve your bag. Bravo! --Robin

Just had to add my congrats as well, mcsolar! Your RR is a great read! I may just come to Boston next year as a spectator and find my way to Wellesley. Sounds like the place to be!! Keep after that sub-3:00 ...sounds to me like you're there next year.

that's about it. i don't know enough about this to appreciate the nuances (there were nuances, weren't there?). thanks for finding so much joy in the process, & for sharing it so well. i'm even more motivated. which might not be a good thing , but that's beside the point. :-)sure sounds fast to me, mc.

I can't believe I missed your report until now. I loved it and it made me giddy! What is it about those hour benchmarks that get us? You ran so fast I can hardly imagine it, regardless which side of 3 hours you were on, and I would guess that gave you an automatic entry for next year. And about the rain, I'm thinking it doesn't rain much where you live, so you handled that like a pro along with everything else!------------------
