Great job Tammy. You seem well prepared for the Avenue of the Giants run coming up next month, get that hamstring massaged and you'll be as good as new!

See you soon!

Tammy – I hate running in the rain, and you did so well in spite of it! Great job! You really sound like you are ready for your HM. How nice to see Labduck, and that DH and DS came to cheer you on, too.

Tammy - Congrats on the negative split in not the most ideal conditions. (Of course, we barefooters love the rain ... I think we're part amphibian!).

You did good girl! Thanks for the report!

Rick

WTG, Tammy! You ran a strong race in difficult conditions. I agree with John--the best is yet to come. I see, though, that the rainmaker is coming to The Ave also. Maybe his effect will be moderated by MrsDuck??? For John's sake, interested in fashion as he is, we can hope for a nice day in three weeks. Now back to trying to get through to Boston...

Tammy, this sounds like a terrific race for you even though your time was not quite what you wanted. I agree that it bodes very well for your upcoming half that you felt so sproinky at the end of the race. It's also excellent news that you have beaten the ITBS into submission. Congratulations on a well run race (yay for negative splits)!

Tamster,

I'm honored that I will get to see your Half Marathon debut, and yes, I think it will be a good one. In fact, I'll have trouble keeping up with you that first out and back (and of course Labduck will be a blur up ahead) because I'm going out the first couple of miles very easy at 11-minute pace or so.

Tammy,

Great race in such bad conditions. Negative splits and no ITBS problems. Good luck at The Ave!

Yeah Tamster! You are so gonna do that half in fine style. Good race in the rain... never a desirable situation but you handled it well!
