Great report Rick, like Ilene I really enjoyed the pics and yeah those shorts are really something! I am truly in awe of your ability to run 26.2 barefoot, heck I have a hard time walking around my yard barefoot. Congratulatinos on a great race and a great time. ------------------ My User Profile "Keep on Running" Bob

Dude, you are amazing. Even if you would loosen the purse strings and spend a buck or two on shoes, your feets....I mean feats are astounding.------------------ Never regret anything that made you smile, SteveP My User Profile

Rick, I would have driven myself crazy trying to rescue the surviving worms! And if you really want to pay twice, let me know the next one you are running.... Congrats! cj

Rick, great job! I noticed those huge worms too. You know that pond in town where the fishermen were? (They didn't even notice us, but it's safe to say this isn't a "spectator" marathon, right?) I wonder what they used for bait? Really enjoyed your pics of the group!------------------ My Profile

WTG, Rick! Sounds like good times. You mentioned the pleasure of stepping in puddles. But you didn't tell us how is feels to step on a worm. ------------------ Fortunate--a volleyballer with a running problem Profile

Hmmmm .. I commented how embarrassing it would be to fellow runners to slip and die on a humungous earthworm (similar to a banana peel?). Sure would make for a "slimy" headline that would be hard to "slip" out of ! Rick

Rick , I like your cruise-control marathons (it’s a good thing we haven’t been able to find any bans on barefoot driving yet) and you seem to be collecting more and more run-all-the-way-without-walking adherents too

Nice speedy marathon, Rick. Congratulations. Stepping on worms didn't even slow you down. It was nice you got to meet a lot of friends and our own Amy. TomS ------------------ My Profile

Hi Rick, Sorry for the late post on your RR but I almost missed it. Sounds like you had a great time as you so often do. I have a hard enough time avoiding stepping on worms and such with shoes let alone barefoot. Ick. Glad you got to spend time with Amy and family. Great photos too! ------------------ choover
