Girl, you kicked it at the end. Great race and report. So you were near the Comox glacier? I want to see that next time I'm up there, if it hasn't melted by then. Anyway, if you had known your AG winner was so close, you would have taken her, huh?

No kidding. I think I've just eaten my last chocolate chip cookie for a while.

What an inspiration.

Late to the party here, but I just HAD to put in my congrats for a well-run race here.

The last time I ran a 1/2 marathon 4 weeks prior to running a marathon, the McMillan Running Calculator predicted my marathon time within 20 seconds!. So, I'm sure you've run the numbers, but just in case you hadn't obsessively done this, I did it for you, and it predicts a 3:16:06 marathon.

Will you wait around for me at the finish line?

Wow.... I had no idea you were such a speedster... And perkless as well!

Very nice run - seems like you should be all set for a great Boston...

Great run and a great psych for Boston. You should be nicely confident going in. I am looking for 3:20 at Boston--so if you want a pacer at least until you leave me in your fairy dust, let me know.

----> * Ausgezeichnet ! * You should indeed be chuffed; you were flying faster than the birds you espied. Looking forward to crossing paths in Beantown. . . . .

One of the difficulties in running races away from your own area is not knowing the local talent. It is annoying to lose to someone by 6 seconds and not know who they are or where they were in relation to you on the course.

I liked the overall consistency of this race and your mental approach to stay steady and hold on, which you executed well. Very fine performance. Spareribs

Yes, I'd be chuffed with that race too. This should set you up nicely for your marathon. Well done and well deserved!

Hey, I just realized there was no fashion report. Like that matters. I'm sure you were fetching no matter what attire you chose.

Congrats Souci on your fine race and near AG win. Hopefully the chuffing will clear up before Boston, but even if it doesn't, you still rock!!!

Just popping in to say...

Well SS, you may be Without Cares but you sure as heck Got Speed! What an awesome race, especially when you decided to drop the hammer at K15. I'm with Dave - I think you're going to really shine at Boston. Congrats on a great tune-up race. You are ready.

Wow, what a great race SS! At that time, you were certainly way way under MP. I agree with Robin, I think a 3:16 is definitely more likely for you than a 3:25, weather permitting and all. Congratulations on a 7 minute PR - that is HUGH!!

I don't want to hijack but just wanted to wave to Skip! I've thought of you often over the past few wks and hope that all is going well for you. I've missed you around the board Skip, but am glad that SS's RR brought you out of the shadows for a minute!
