Tammy,
This was a nice report to read. Great that you were within 7 seconds of your personal best despite the fact that you've been feeling poorly.

You ran very well.

well, I'm a big ol shmuck! I didn't PR afterall. I thought my PR at Portland was 46:44, but I had my 5K and 5 mile times confused. My 5K time is 26:44 and my 5 mile time is 46:14. So, I still missed a PR by 7 seconds.

Thanks for all the undeserving congratulations though on a achieving a new PR.

I still had a good time though!

I'm a social runner ... For now, I enjoy running races, I like to have a respectable time but I'm not at a point in my life where i want to crank out 50-60 mpw. Maybe someday.

Tammy's a social runner? Who'd a thunk?

I love your approach to running. It suits you and your life and that's all that really matters. What's the point of cranking out 60 mpw if you're not getting something out of it? And you are getting something out of what you're doing now; I think you're running extremely well.

And that John ... I envy you and L&L. What a true friend.

That PR is toast soon, I know it.
