Pro, I want to thank you for doing this. I was very tired and a bit depressed when I came up to your table. Suddenly someone jumped out and ran alongside me and handed me a Gu. I promptly dropped it and he picked it up, ran along side me and waited until I sucked it down before handing me a bottle of Gatorade. Who was that young fella? You guys really picked me up and made me feel special. Many thanks. You guys are awesome.

Walt- It was probably my fault for trying to hand you the GU and Gatorade at the same time. I had put on some gloves by that time and was fumbling a little...ha. You looked great. There was no sign that you were down at all. Good form and good stride. (I guess you couldn't see that I had my name --dtoce--on the front of my shirt --from Jim in CA-- that said 'Cool Running Boomers' on the back'...) Can't wait for the RR. Thanks for letting us be a part of your race... The Pro is awesome, isn't he?

Got the Banana yesterday---but I missed out on the fungus. Think that might of cost me several nanoseconds. Guess you are just going to have to keep the fungus another year, Pro.

I had your bottle the whole time Mark, sorry . Here we were looking all over and it was tucked in my arm. It should be nice and ripe for next year. Barb

The funniest moment of the day was when hally realized, just after you ran off, that she had your bottle in her hand. Tom

Not a problem. The banana was great. Not sure if the fungus would have really hit the spot. Can hardly wait to taste the 06 Vintage Gatorade in 08. Probably be like a nice Merlot.

Hi guys, I also want to give you a BIG THANK YOU!! I missed every one else that was going to say hi on the course. I saw that flag and was prepared to stop and look for you. Then a nice came leaping out and handed me a bottle and checked out how i was feeling. Everyone around me was jealous! The elites don't get this kind of service! Thanks again!

Thanks guys!!!!!! I totally forgot about you (or just under so much pain I couldn't think - I developed a horrible pain on the side of my knee which I never had). I even waved my hand, saying 'no thanks' - and somebody came running next to me, said 'oh this is for you, Yoshiko, how are you feeling?' That was really appreciated and gave me some energy back. Thanks so much for doing this! I am looking forward to going back there somebody!

I have a huge apology, I know all the care and consideration that you guys put into this, and I missed it. I know I could have used some encouragement at that point. I'm truly sorry and humbly ask for your forgiveness. wj

YOU GUYS ARE FREAKING AWESOME!!!Thank you, thank you, thank you...get the drift? As I approached I was so anxious to see the sign and yell "PRO, PRO it's Bob Scamman" then I could see someone running my way and I turned to the left as I passed and noticed my name on the bottle and hey wait don't give that to him, I'm Bob...that's mine! I really needed that, again thanks so much. And for whoever it was that ran that short way with me and peeled my banana for me a very special thank you. I hope I can repay you in some way. It made me laugh, made me feel special and made me feel a part of a very special cool running group. What more can I say, thank you from the bottom of my heartl. ------------------ My User Profile "Keep on Running" Bob

The part of running the Boston Marathon that attracks me the most is the Pro's water stop! I just have to get there some day. <wistful sigh>
