You are the best! Do you have a favorite charity? Such wonderfulness should have a reward, somehow.

I'll be by at 1:41 or so, according to the cool spreadsheet.

If that's too late for you guys, I'll understand - I'm starting way back in corral 21 this year & I'm not fast. And last time I was OK with whatever the course had. But this would be a wonderful boost!

My number is 21,584. I'll be sure to have a big "Jim S-G" written on my shirt.
Any flavor Gatorade Endurance watered down some, but with 2 ECaps would be great. It looks like I'll come by at around 1:41..

Figuring 3:00 offset in corral #4, and a 7:20/mile pace makes:

12:30PM ETA Bib#4192 JohnMaas Bottle of H2O, 1 banana

With my surfing injury from Hawaii, John may be dragging me along. Anyone know how to recover quickly from a pulled muscle in the ribs next to the heart? It only hurts when I try to breathe...

Whoa, wait a minute, I thought we all agreed that we weren't going to discuss Boston or Marathons for a month or so.

Am I going to have to put my headphone on and turn the volume up so I can't hear you guys?

Pro Team:
I won't be coming to Boston because I'm still working on just walking on my sore foot. Tory is really bummed out too and I need to get back to long term running for the both of us. So no cortisone shot for me, just aggressive PF re-hab. I'll re-group and heal properly and plan on Boston '08 since I'm already qualified for next year.

This is REALLY hard to take but I'll get over it. Right now the joy of just running will be as good as running Boston (almost )!

I'll take some standard Gatorade. Pro, will you be at brunch on Sunday? If so, I'll give you a few gels or packs of Sports Beans (and some dry gloves if the weather is nasty) that I can pick up at mile 20 instead of carrying them the whole way.

ETA: 1:40 pm, wearing a Marathon Maniac shirt, red cap, black running skirt.

Soundrunner reminded me I goofed on my ETA, Carig, so here goes:

1:05p or so
No. 12,094
Name: SS
water + lemon sublime Gu which I will give to you at the brunch (?) You'll be there, Pro; right? Or I can give to La T.

Can I hold your beer and let you chase me down? Sure hope I'll be in "chaseable" shape by then.

I reckon I'll be wearing a 20-year-old white (with red lettering) singlet with a God and Goddess on it and black shorts with orange trim. A Real Fashion "Don't."

#10186. Back end of first wave. I'm undertrained this spring and with the addition of having the flu for the last six days as of right now I don't even know if I'll go to Boston. If I do go I think the best I can expect is a 3:45 finish.

So... I'll be wearing a Yankees jersey and you can hand me an extra large margarita at your aid stop.

No, that wouldn't do. I don't want to die in Boston. Realistically I expect to be a bit slow and would really appreciate some friendly faces and a butt slap at 20 miles.

Doctor Wu (Walter). #10186. 12:55 - 1:00PM (estimating 10 minute delay for back of first wave start. Lemon Lime Gatorade Endurance in a small bottle with a Vanilla Gu rubber banded. Many thanks!

What I'll wear if it isn't too cold:

Pro,

Could I have a GU with an elastic on my drink as well?
Sorry for the late addition.

This is a great service and something to look forward to after 19.75 miles.

This is my first marathon and I look forward to seeing your Flag/table.

Thank you

NUMBER - 12699
ARRIVAL TIME - 01:11 (based on 8 minute pace and second wave)
WHAT YOU WANT - same as I requested earlier, Endurance Gatorade any flavor...if Endurance formula is not available...any gatorade will do.
Name - Tim (wa5yom)

Note....Of course final arrival time is really +/- one hour...hehe

Sorry for being soo late with the final ETA. I have had a difficult time picking my pace....I trained for 7:48 for the coming winter marathon season (first time at this pace) but I feel like it is too agressive for Boston especially since my HILL skills leave a bit to be desired. If I can really hold an 8 at Boston I would be thrilled.

Thanks for everything.

Tim,
Ardmore, OK.

craig, thanks so much for doing this.

can i have a lemon-sublime gu? please? i like jj's idea of elastic banding it to the bottle.

i should modify my arrival time; i'll be 10 sec before pbj and tall, trying to keep their laser sites off my back...

my bib is 2387. fashion depends on the snow conditions, but i will have a brand new pair of ruby slippers.

i'll be yelling "pro you sexy thang" when i run by your flag...
