Can I Play???

Here is my soon to be 6 year old beagle, Marley. This is the extent of her energy unless there is a rabbit nearby.

And the next two are Guinness. Guinness is an entlebucher sunnenhund. When the weather gets cool this year, we can start running. I fear it will be a long training perios as she is a herding breed.

And this last one is just for kicks.

ajhjc: Thank you for the suggestion. The uploading was easy, so let's see how the posting goes.

Max is a great walking companion, but our running styles don't mesh too well. We know every vertical surface along our regular route..which doesn't lead to the most even paced run.

Since I haven't been running - I'll post about my other favorite subject . . . . dogs!!

Kamalee - Max has a georgeous coat!! Just wanna hug him.

Marely is such a cute Beagle - have you read the book Marley and Me? I hear it is a tear jerker. Guiness is a cutie too.

Here is Hailey ready to go hunting . . .

And this is Huntley also ready to hunt . . . if the tailgate is down on the truck, he's trying to get in the kennel for his favorite pastime:

Boy, that dog is ugly . . . but he can hunt!!

Thank you for your compliments. He is very huggable. He's the neighboorhood dog, spending a large amount of time in our front yard greeting everyone that comes by. There are a lot of people that I have no idea what their names are, but they all greet him by name. Nice to be popular!

More pics please!

Come on newbies and lurkers, make our day with your pet photos. And, hey, it doesn't hurt to have new pics of existing friends.

Let me indulge. Here are two closeups of Timmy in the sun. I don't know which one I like the best.

This is Ziggy in his usual pose. He was adopted by me after his mom and dad got divorced. I'll have to find a better photo to upload so you can see how handsome he is. I will probably have to post a lot of photographs to catch up to Timmy though.

Aj, I like the second best too. Anach, can't see yours but it may be my work blocking it. Anyone else?

Ziggy-Smoogle-Smuggle-Cutie-Smoosh-Face... Anach, he's so sweet! Please post as many pics of Ziggy as you can. Timmy got a head start.

Thanks Mary and Barb. MrAJ likes the second one better too, but there's something about the first one for me.

Mary, how do Haily and Huntley see through that hair? What do they hunt? Does MrHopeful do all the training or do you participate?

More pics!!! <insert demanding tantrum smilie here>>

I can see Ziggy - I'd love to climb into that bed with Ziggy - Ziggy looks cuddly!

AJ - my DH does 100% of the training - I do 100%of the spoiling. They hunt for woodcock, pheasant, chuckers, etc. and also go out on the boat for duck and goose hunting. DH is on the way out with them right now for some bird hunting. These dogs can jump about 5-6 feet into the air from standing. It is so fun to see them in the tall brush, because all of a sudden they hop up - ears flying in the air - to see where you are.

Hailey trying to get the tennis ball from Huntley the other night. DH down in the woods.

Oh aj, thanks for more pics of Timmy! Those are great.

I've posted several pictures of Howie the cat before, but none of Phoebe, our reclusive Maine Coon. Here she is being pretty...

Here are our two little bunnies. When we first got them they were really shy, but now they are part of the family and very comfortable with us. They love to cuddle with DD3

We put them in their cage before the dark 'cause they are hard to catch the best of times , by now they know all the tricks in the book....The fire happened upstairs and they were tucked away downstairs, so they were safe. Thank goodness, one less thing to worry about. (Kate and her dogs come to mind.)
