He's not fat -- he's big boneded We can still see some cardboard next to him, but he does bow out the sides of the box a bit.

Hahaha! I didn't even notice... look at that butt bending over the back side of the box. {{{butt scratches to beercat}}}Tammy, I didn't post before, but I love the quality of the pic of your lab. It's like a beautiful oil painting. Timmy likes to lay in the water when it's hot too.

Thanks ajhjc. That was taken at the Chetco River (southern oregon near the coast) and the water was absolutely amazing. Very clear and the river rock was so colorful. Just an amazing spot!------------------ "Life Is Good" Tammy

I am in charge of cat-food rationing in our house. The cat really really likes me in the morning when I feed him, and really really doesn't like me after work when I don't. ------------------ Predawnrunner, aka mrs W.R.F. Beer Training

I don't think my cats eat a terribly large amount, and they get no people food except when I have canned tuna I pour the water into their dish but that's not that often. They are just indoor cats in an apartment and there's not much to do but eat and sleep (and shed and poop)

Here's a pic I took today of Tom. I like the way it turned out. He's going to my friend's house for a week while I'm on holiday, I'm trying not to think about how much I'm going to miss him!

As soon as I figure out how to post pics on here I will show you my best friend! His name is Chester, and he is a Bullmastiff. He loves to go running with me! He's also a great chick magnet, he is such a ham around them! I trained him well, he crawls on his stomach, begs to be petted, and puts his paws over his face like he is shy. The chicks just eat it up!! Got to surf the forum dude!! ------------------ Max A Million, "Let's Get This Party Started"

Such cute annamules you have! Funny how cats love plain ol' cardboard boxes! We lost our cat Stella to cancer over a year ago now (my first ever cat). I'd love to have a dog, but my fella has never had a dog and is a bit ambivalent. We're not entirely sure our work-related travelling days are over, and I am the biggest baby when it comes to leaving pets. In fact, Stella might have been one of the best travelled felines, having lived in Holland (where she had her first and only fight resulting in an ear "notch") and Ottawa. I wouldn't mind having one of my sister's five dogs and three cats, but she won't release her grip on the lovable lot. She takes in a lot of the geriatrics that are dumped at the SPCA. Keep posting and I'll keep 'awwwwwwwwwwing.' SS

Love the kitties Janie, Monday, and MarkGuy!Markguy, the tuxedo cat -- it looks so smart! I have one, but he's, oh, about 10 pounds heavier than the one in your picture. Monday, I just want to pick up Tom & give him a big hug. And same thing for Greg's Sad Sophie (awwww).... Max, I (sheepishly) admit to being one of those chicks who has ooohed & ahhed over a bullmastiff -- such nice doggies they are!

This is Nutty. I wanted to call her 4-Head because of the nicely formed 4 on her head. All my good ideas get ignored. [This message has been edited by millbot (edited Feb-09-2007).]

Millbot, I agree with you and your "4." Much more appropriate for such a dignified girl. She's a beauty.

I don't have any pictures available to post, but we have 2 dogs. Both from the local animal shelter. Harley is mine, we have had her for 4 1/2 years now. We think she is a Rhodesian Ridgeback mix. Coco, my wifes dog is almost 2 and is a Queensland Healer mix. We got them both as pups.Jellybelly, I saw the picture of your poodle, and I think I dated a girl with a hair do like that once. lol ------------------ Larry, As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord (Joshua 24:15)

When this thread came up, I was wondering how it got so big without me noticing. Guess it's been going for a while and was just dormant. I thought I was going to be smart and just paste my picture in here, but apparently it has to be online somewhere. Any suggestions for a good (read free) spot to do this? Your worlds are not complete without a picture of Max the wonder dog.

Yes, we must see Max. I use http://www.photobucket.com but there are tons of others. Once you create an account and upload the pic, find the IMG link underneath the photo and copy it into your clipboard. When you come back here to post a reply, paste the IMG link in. Now, rush...

I hope this works! Here is Ranger, Luka, my son, Griffin, and Sounder. Luka ran with me during this race and she ran her heart out to place us second in my age group. Ranger is running retired, but enjoys walking this event with the rest of the family.
