AJ- thanks for the pics of Timmy! I tend to be a "little?" obsessive about my dogs too. Craig - that is a great pic of Baxter too! Here are my latest - our Rotweiller just had ear surgery Monday, so I couldn't help but snap a photo of him: Remington after ear surgery Brinkley (my running buddy) on my DD's lap Hailey (my baby) at 4.5 months old ~Mary

hopeful, you have THREE dogs?? I'm so jealous. Poor Remington, give him a kiss, and Brinkley and Hailey, well, they are just cuties.Pro, I love Baxtor's ear, and little man. But is Baxtor a boy, because his man is pink. Alemma, Katie is so beautiful and regal. Thanks all for your comments on Timmy.

ajhjc & hopeful4ever: Thank you. We adopted Katie last year and found out she had heartworms as well as intestinal worms. She made it through a 2-month treatment and is now free from any worms. She was not allowed to exercise at all during her treatment, not even go for walks. (If her heart worked too hard, then the dying worms could have killed her.) So Katie and I started running together when the vet gave her the OK to exercise again. At first, neither one of us could even make it around the 1.5 mile block. But eventually we did it and we ran 1.5 miles for a couple months before going any further. So, Katie is the one that actually saved me. She got me hooked on running. ------------------ My Profile

I do believe that Patrick toy belongs to theProFromDover himself and not Baxter. I think it is one of the Pro's swimming coaches for his triathlon training.

aj, mc wins! It's Patrick. And although the two boys, now 14 and 16, don't watch it anymore, they did love Spongebob a while back. I actually don't remember where Patrick came from. But he's tough. Baxter, being a terrier, beats the tar out of Patrick, but he takes a licking and keeps on ticking (or holds his stuffing). -Craig Edited to add: Oh yeah, Baxter is a he. So's Patrick but he stinks at swimming. Baxter on the other hand, loves swimmiing and will do laps in the pool until he is exhausted. I just now noticed that Baxtor is on one side of the chair and Patrick is on the other.

The lab is our beloved Hershey who crossed the Rainbow Bridge to doggy heaven last December. The cats are, well, cats. They think they own the place. [This message has been edited by FlyingFinn (edited Nov-17-2006).]

{{{FlyingFinn}}}, Hershey is beautiful. I'm sure Hershey is running with my Hannah (see first page of this thread), who also crossed over last December. Hugs.

I lost my faithful companion and running partner Laika on Monday, from a sudden heart arrythmia. She was healthy and happy right to the end, we had a nice little trail run just last week and she had a blast. She never got tired, always tried to pull us up (and down) hills, and even laid down by the treadmill when I was on it. I miss her

Group hug, everyone. {{{PerfesserR}}} Laika is beautiful. Take consolation in the fact that she was happy until the day she died at home where she is loved.
