Congratulations to all the weekend racers !

Great report Gag, thanks for sharing.

Thanks for sharing the pics Roly, very pretty. Guess you are over your cold

Sally, you are something else !

Mars - good to hear from you, glad you are okay.

Have a good week everyone..

PS - Craig, I'm bunking in Chambly, but I sure ain't goin' to run with you..you're too fast, I'm too slow, you'll wind up shoving me into the Chambly basin out of frustration. If you have time to come into town to some of the cool running get togethers for food and drinks you won't be disappointed - great bunch of people.

Great Race Report, Runninggag! Congratulations! Congratulations to all the racers yesterday! It sounds like it was good conditions.

The Roly I remember was sporting (proudly I might say) a muscular chest. I checked your latest Camelback for kids you just bought (for age 5 and up).... Wanna have Sherpa John teach you how to squeal, boy ?

In my defence it did not say anything about 5 and up when I bought it. It fits great and is the perfect size for running. The otherones were way to big and pricy. No need for both my waist belt and old camelbak.

Oh and chops thanks for noticing.

Df7 yes the cold has pretty much gone.

SS sheez what this girl will do for runner bling bling. Hope you can walk.

RG, you da man!

Merc, check your Webster's again for the definition of "pedestrian". You'll see a picture of me there, not you.

Sally, I wish I could come out tomorrow night to see you walk proudly...and without limping of course.

....it's tough to get up and go for a run after dinner..... 2:09.... home to the top, two little loops and then home.... last loop done in the dark.... silly boy, no light, no cell, not much brain either.... ah well, got home safely... put me down for a slow 13,5
....saw a funny thing at the lookout, at the bottom of the stairs. A family of racoons merrily sharing a bag of cheese doodles with a bunch of young folk who I'm guessing had made their way up there to smoke a quiet number and enjoy the sunset..... & the cheese doodles..... lots of giggling, & cell phone video-ing.... ah to be young ..... but why should age get in the way?

It's going to be fun tomorrow night at VIP. So far, attendees will be me, Geoff (who, by the way ran a 1:37:00 half, first race ever!), RG, Merc, TB, LifeAny ... 6 of us ... did I miss anyone? First one to get there, please grab a table ... I might be a wee bit late - will depend on what time my son's award ceremony finishes. Please try to RSVP by 2pm tomorrow latest so we can get the right table size. If we can't fit you in, you don't get to eat.

Chops: P-tooey! I don't need your congratulations ... you didn't even think I'd finish Ironman. BQ's, PB's ... I'd have to give up all my other sports and hobbies! No sir-ee!

Merc: If you are a pedestrian, I must be the stop sign.

Roly: You're just jealous of my bling. And what is with that "youth-sized" Camelbak? Can you fit it over your shoulders and back?

LA: Don't forget to ask me about TNT at supper.

Mitch: You coming to check out my 5-hour marathon medal? It's the same exact one that Gag got ... pretty cool, ain't it?

TB: Let me recover a bit and we will start speed work.

Grommit: Neg split? Of course.

Thanks for all the congrats, folks. Hope that more of you will be able to make it tomorrow at the restaurant.

Sally

p.s. Race report is up ...

This is just a reminder for me and others who didn't remember where is the gathering tonight.

Sally, I've just read your great report. Good chance I knew it was yours and not Dalai Lama's... Your attitude was so zen, I'm pretty sure it helped. Here's the proof that a marathon is 90% mental, 10% physical.

Hello,

I will be there early, I'll leave the office at 6:15 so I'll grab a table. I'll check in one last time before leaving to see how many people will be there!

See you tonight!

Any

Little question : 1077 Clark, is it near St-Laurent, just south of Rene-Levesque? Thank you!

Any: Clark is the street just West of St-Laurent. And the resto is South of René-Lévesque.

I take it y'all stuffin' your faces while I sit here food-less in front of the computer... ugh....

At least show me some pics of food!

Hope you went to get some egg tarts from Jade Garden, they are the best. My family buys that stuff in bulk.

Thanks to Ninja for being the gracious host (along with SS) for last nights fun! Lots of laughs as usual with great company. The only down side was Gag left his hair in a box somewhere. Oh well......life will go on nonetheless!

Thanks for a great evening last night. The food was great and your company makes me believe that I can do anything - that's fun!!

The return home was not that fun... I was stuck in traffic for 30 minutes because of the huge accident on the 20, on échangeur Turcot. It was really bad (and it was even worst because the Gwen Stefani concert had just finished). Got here around midnight (1h15 minutes to get home).

Have a great day, Any

Hello Mtl Coolrunners, this is my last msg before the 5th, cause I'm moving tomorrow and I'll be in cyberlimbo until the cable guy arrive. So I wish all the best to all participants of the zillions of races going on next weekend.
