Chocolate cake.

New list of attendees:
SS, Killerchops, KJ, Merc, Truxx & the newbie we want to initiate, KingZ.

Alright, we got two racers attending ... what about Df & TB? Anyone else with an upcoming/past race to celebrate?

Hi Dollface - I can't commit to anything next week. Mom goes in for her surgery, among other things on my plate.

Besides, who said anything about the ole gal "racing"? Its going to be a long slow waddle in the sun with friends (hoperfully)....

Hi Truxx - lucky you, out there enjoying the sunlight today, I was busy after work and got home too late...oh well, always tomorrow.

You said "chocolate" cake? I can't resist to that. I'll be there, but not with my Mr. Peanut outfit.

I'm so happy that the sun is back. That bad weather was getting on my nerves. I appreciate it very much. it's abouuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut time.

Count me in for Tuesday!

I'll be in the cheerleading section for this weekend's 1/2 marathon Depending on how the legs feel, I may chaperone the lovely DF along the way.

DR: Coverage is important and I am pleased to report that I had coverage last Sunday. Unfortunately, I saw others who did not and it was not a pretty sight.

Merc: Great race report.

Wohoo.... 91 days to go, I'M READY. Bring it on.

Tomorrow I will be definetly taking advantage of the weather, since I may not be able to Run all day Saturday and only in the afternoon on Sunday.

I would like to go to Mont-St-Hilaire tomorrow and run a few laps of the rocky trial, but not sure if it runnable yet.

May just find a nice mucky trail on the mountain tomorrow and run up and down for 3 + hours.

SS Not sure about Tuesday, got a few clients in next week so it going to be a little crazy.

Ralf - now that was the funniest thing I read in the longest time...the searching for your life comment...just about rolled off my chair. Can I join you and Chops ? 'cept I don't know how far I'd get before my posse would come looking for the ole gal.

Was on the hill today after work, slow crawl up the snake, twice around the top, lots of snow left, then down to the statue, dropping in on the group at the track to exchange hellos on my jog back to the gym. I've seen Olmsted in worse condition in previous springs, lots of foot traffic and cyclists.

Saw TB, looking and sounding in good shape, nice to hear about the trip.

Gro - don't be giving the birthday boy a hard time, I remember a certain someone having quite the weekend a little while ago - hummmm ????

Friday tomorrow, yippee, oh joy.

A new cycle begins! Just registered for the 5km on May 12 at Parc Maisoneuve organised by the YMCA. Ooh.. Saturday night racing. Feel the heat Saturday night fev-ah!

http://www.ymcamontreal.qc.ca/deficourse/

Anyone interested?

The forecast for Sunday augers well those running the 1/2. Best of luck to all running that event.

Hmmm. 5K at Parc Maisonneuve? Might be interested TB, if I can locate my agenda book following Boston, and I am free, I may give it a spin.

+/- 21 miles on the mountain this morning. Beautiful day out there, the week-end is going to be a very Spring like. Yipee.

So for those of you dreaming of running tomorrow and are stuck behind your computer now. Here a few photos of the mountain with most of the snow gone and plenty of muck to play in.

Guys, guys... doesn't anyone want to know how TB knows about "coverage" and the experiment we conducted last year that all of you were supposed to partake in (but we decided against it at the last minute)...
Maybe he will explain it all at Hurleys...

I might sign up for the 5km tonight.... Maybe. perhaps. we'll see.
