Maybe jc forgot to sign off one day and the cleaning staff is posting. The weather's nicr right now but it'll be colder again...maybe not quite like it was. I did a shortened hill workout today as I had to run after work instead of this morning and didn't have as much time. Still got 5ish miles in. Afternoonmeltingsun + eveningdropbelowzero equals icysidewalks. I had to be careful footing out there since all the wet patches turned to ice once the sun set. Which reminds me, I should probably throw some salt on our sidewalk.

I work with Fitchic- you'll see her in the Athena and Clydesdale forum. I'm at an Ontario Running Room. I am not telling my exact location. I just want to keep up the mystery.------------------ Relent not unless ye be trampled and left for dead.

I bet Eddie would spill all if you gave him a timmy's.I got a few k in this morning just as the snow was starting. I couldn't believe how fast and thick that snow was coming down. I was cleaning the van off and after two passes I gave up.

Sadly, I'm still on my treadmill. Even during yesterday's gorgeous sunshine. I'm terrified of slipping on the ice and today is just plain wet and nasty. I'm still getting all of my running in, so it's not a problem. I'm hoping that today was my last long run on the thing. Managed to do 1:20 on it, but it was tough mentally.

You're better than me. I tried to get on the TM the other day and lasted 10min. Then I tried the Xtrainer and did 10 and the same on the ARC. I can't do it. ------------------ stay strong be brave and wait for the signs FIT CHIC03

My brain's too tired for riddles.............put me out of my misery! No run today, work was sh**y, off to bed - so I can do today's run on the TM in the am. The warmth is gone tonight - the wind was ugly again when I left work. Patti

Fast Eddie not telling. Heh, heh. But yes a double sugar, single cream large Tims coffee may loosen up my tonque. I actually did a double workout on Wednesday. 8K in the morning and a surprise 10K in the evening because someone needed to lead out the Running Room group that evening. So I took Thursday off, but did do a few miles walking around the Auto Show today.

Well I had a good workout on Thursday I did a Pilates class before my tempo workout. I walked at about 5.3 to 5.4mph for 5 miles. My hopes is that I will be fast enough to walk around a 2:24, 2:22 at the Chilly. Wish me luck. ------------------ Relent not unless ye be trampled and left for dead.

Good luck. I think I'm handing out medals...or maybe cutting off chips (and toes) at the finish. Or maybe I can be the upbeat guy on the microphone. ...or maybe not.

Hey everyone! Busy weekend here. My oldest daughter had her volleyball tournament on Saturday (I was the coach). They were undefeated through the regular season - they never even lost a single set. So, we had high hopes going into the tournament. They ended up playing 6 schools throughout the day and again never lost a set. They are now the Under 12 Volleyball Champs!! Woo Hoo!!I missed my workout on Saturday, but did a 2.5 hour bike / 25 min run brick yesterday. Training is going well, but I'm counting down the days until I can get outside on my bike again.

I've run a lot of races and I've never met a race announcer I didn't like. You've got quite a task ahead of you.One of them once ate up my warmup with stories of a racehorse that he had owned 15 years ago. He just wouldn't let me get away.

kewl! I ran out to the bluffs yesterday. The waves crashing on the shore were massive and I just sat on the rocks watching them in awe, so I hauled the kiddies down with me later and took some pics, I'll try and post them when I get home this eve.

I'll be working at the Running Room booth Friday and Saturday. Drop by to say hello. Then I'll be doing who know what on Sunday, but they want me there at 5:30am! But I suspect that they will have me keeping an eye on a supicious looking ex-Principal type guy.

I have my house back! Except the new carpet but its drywalled, painted and looks great. But, I hate drywall dust - spent most of the weekend eradicating it from my house.I have offically resigned myself to a half and my training program is being modified as I speak. Coach suggested I could still do a full but I need the balalnce, and I think in the long run it will pay off as I have more time to become strong and much less likely to get injured. Chicago is the full goal. Good luck to all you Chilly runners - I might go to Grimsby to cheer on some of my group, otherwise I'd come to the Chilly with Eddie's Tim's to get the scoop on minime. Patti Edited as proof reading is a good idea! [This message has been edited by Strep (edited Feb-26-2007).]

Well it looks like I am not going after all. I am going to have to save my money this week ;-(I had Fitchic dig her elbow into my hip because it was tight and man... something tells me it's a good thing I am not doing this race anyways.
