Thanks to my friends "fly, Gag & Ninja for a lovely evening. Wow. Quite the place that MAA. Gro, we could really have some fun in there. Sorry to hear that Gag has given up the idea of being Mr. Planter's Peanut. Thought he might look cute with the monicle & top hat. Ninja-go get 'um in Paris. Df., take care of that body. Baby steps. Nice to be with the family again. Still missing a few brothers & sisters. Count me in as "on-board" Gro. We will make it happen. I always wanted to be a bus driver! Wear your raincoat on Sunday. If I am in town, I'll join you all on the mountain. Roly comin'?

Hey Gag – mets tes lunettes…you only had one beer my friend, look at my post from last night…its there… as for your costume, Merc had an interesting idea, just a red sash plse, Mme Gag may not approve…and we don’t want to know what you were doing when you were wearing an angel costume….. I know, you were runner up for the angel in that annoying cream cheese commercial on tv… Merc – bus driver ?! and the laughs continue…yessir, baby steps…slow baby steps, or as TB told me one morning over breakfast, “don’t get greedy cause you feel better”…. this from the ninja running the Paris marathon on a p/f and shin problem… Gro- how do feel about wearing one of those global positioning thingy around your neck in July ?? And you planning on bringing bear repellant… ? Looking forward to the adventure. ROLY – DON’T GET HURT. Sunday is a maybe, early, slow start….can’t keep up with any of you so just don’t trample the ‘fly… Have a good weekend everyone…

So when and where on the mountian tomorrow.Interesting 2 hourish run today in the trails near home (link to photos below). The trails where compacted but with the warmer weather and rain the snow collapsed under each step makink it difficult to run. Not knowing which way your ankle was going to turn. Good strengthening for the ankles, beats a wobble board. http://ca.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/rolyrolandone/album?.dir=a0bcre2&.src=ph Merc I like the blog, yet another one for me to forget about. roly

Hey Mercury – this is a surprise, you never said a word last Thursday evening, you’ve gone and joined the world of bloggers. Why not share your accomplishments, experiences, I say ? And I like the little winged creature, when you have a moment, let me know where you found him.Roly – thanks for sharing the pics, what time was it for the luv of God ? Not a soul around ? Do you carry a phone, id ? No running today, training consisted of serious house cleaning, laundry, etc, Got in a small warm up with skipping rope followed by core and weights. Hoping its nice enough for a long run tomorrow.

Yeah ! Roly I recognise the place. I'm back in town from the beautiful laurentides. So... tomorrow around 9 a.m.is it good ? too early... what about 10:00. Or better 9:30. And don't forget the time change.Sally, since you asked for our opinion, here I go ... don't get the tattoo. It's becoming too mainstream, even the learning channel ( tlc ) have a program call Miami ink ( probably you already know ! ). But I don't have a suggestion for the moment...Wait ! Maybe a jewellery made by an artiste that you like, a unique piece just for you. Anyway that's my idea. So tomorrow 9:00 on avenue du parc. Let me know. see ya , easygo

.... well as a machead I know how simple this page was to set up! ...... they have such long addresses when you use the mac server... I have a page for the mexican thing which I may move from .mac to another server.... as for the content.... you may want to check your 20k time. as for todays run.... I went up and down Sutton for 4,5 hours with 20mins for lunch.... assisted by skis & a chair lift. Half an hour of rain while we ate lunch but apart from that great conditions. Tomorrow, I'm flexible.... (well actually I'm a tad stiff in the quads at the moment ) I'm planning something on the long side starting at my back door at eight.... I'll be at the cemetery gates at about 8:30 and then say 10 @ the monument..... all in favour say aye.... G

15k slowly around the hood this morning. First 5 were just plain awkward, coughing, nose like a tap, had to tie a shoe twice, slipping on the remnants of ice...then the next loop was a bit faster and the third was tough...glad to get in the door. Hadn't carried anything to drink , duh ...drinking alot now. Will be registering for the 1/2 this evening when I get a minute. So thats Knee, Gag and I so far for the event in April - anyone else ? How was the mountain run ? Was it sloppy, slippy running ? TB - how you doin - did you go out with your pardner in crime ? Enjoy the remainder of the day folks.

Beautiful day for a run despite the icy conditions on sidewalk. Most of the run was done on the road. Fortunately there were few cars on Pie IX and Viau at that time. The temperature is warming up and sun was most welcome. Despite losing an hour of sleep due to day light savings time, the run was a success. The shin splint settled down after 5 minutes of running and I was pleased with the minimal effort required to sustain base pace. Ran for about 2:45 in total and celebrated with a yummy chocolate milk. Had the privilege of Grommit's, Roly and Stephane's company DF, my running buddy had a bit of a rough time due to pain in his right inner arch and calf. TB

Df, I'm glad to know that you entered the half marathon as well as RG (and also my friend Norm for his first half marathon).Merc, I like your blog. I ran your regular running route yesterday between Lachine and Dorval along the water. A very nice 12 km!

YAY Spring is here... It's getting warm weather that's good news... Watch out for shin/lower leg injuries due to running on the pavement as opposed to layers of hardened snow (padding)!!!Curiosity didn't kill me, the Kat did. Did some weight training with her and then a swim and my shoulders are super stiff now... Enjoy the warm weather, next week we are back below 0 but it shouldn't last long...!

Bonjour jolie genou, I`m hoping that I can complete it with better results from my leg but probably not time wise, trying to not get myself worked up about that. Now, the fast folks are going to keep something to eat for the ole `fly aren’t they ? Lets pray that the weather gods are more benevolent then when you ran it last year…brhhhh.

The run was nice. yeah sloppy and slippy just like sex, from what I remember. Easygo and I met up with Gro and TB at the Angel, TB left us at his normal exit about 20 minutes up the hill. The rest of us ran to the top with 3 loops around the cross via the trails, the longer more scenic route. For me the first loop was tiring the second loops I thought I was going to collapse but suprisingly during the third loop felt a surge of energy and met up with the two faster runners at the end. Parted ways with gro and headed back down the mountain. Total time about 2 hours. So df all signed up for the Montreal half. Good luck and I hope you get your goal or at least a little bit closer. Roly
