My apologies for the no show this evening...sure you had a great time. Went over to the MAA and put in my time on the dreadmill, some lazy swimming and headed home. Will be tucking myself in early tonight.

Thank you for the chuckle Roly, ich bin mude this morning, go**amit ...and people are cranky around me and I'm pissed at a bus driver, he may or may not have given to the lost/found a bus pass in a leather folder I found on a seat on Tuesday.I'm pissed at myself for not hanging on to it because I thought I knew who had dropped it - sure enough this older chap who works around my area asked the bus driver about it ( a different guy) nada. He's out $75.. thats my rant for the day. Back to running. Anyone running outdoors in this weather ? I know TB went out with the Tuesday night speedsters. Yep Gag, during the day, around lunch time, bundled up, it can be done..evening, its another story. I have a short waddle on schedule, probably do it again on the T/M.

Oh Gomez, where does he find this stuff?Sorry I missed the party, last second timetable addition with a client at the Y. Unavoidable but maddening. Ran along Lac St. Louis yesterday for a 6 mile tempo. Frozen cahones & fingers. Brutal wind! Stay in today. My hands were cold driving the car! A TM hill climb in order for today.

Get your a$$ off the couch mister and head out the door for your recovery run. The wind has died down and properly attired it will be great. This from someone who did a TM run after work hey, it was still cold and windy. Don't know what the hey this week...low energy , maybe not enough sleep. Btw, some article there..gheez..you're a nut. Ralf - check your box. DR - so, have you got fins and gills yet ? how's the ankle.. ? Mercury - all thawed out ? [This message has been edited by Df7 (edited Jan-17-2007).]

Ok I have to comment on the article, I totally disagree with the writer but I'm ultra-conservative and pro-healthy-and-active-lifestyle...On my way out for a run... DF: no gills yet, I'm working on it but I have fins (haha the kind you get at a swimming store), goggle eyes, horrible hair, huge shoulders and lots of fun... No better way to start the day than a short run and a 6AM swim practice...

Happy Birthday TB! Best wishes from Europe. We had a little storm last night. Already, when I got home yesterday, streets and sidewalks were covered with debris (mostly fallen branches). Otherwise no problem, altough I still have to check my car for tiles from the roofs nearby. Tomorrow I will run in the forest. There I expect some obstacles. Enjoy your weekend Ralf ------------------ Follow your nose

Thank you everyone for the kind words. Booked the day off today and it feels wonderful not having to run around but take my sweet time today. Went for a run around Lafontaine park and returned to the gym via Rachel to the monument and headed down the snake. Conditions were slushy and I overdressed. The mild winter we've experienced is truly the best gift a runner could receive. Have a great day, TB

Alright, so it looks like I had to find runners outside CR ... will be doing an 8k run leaving at 9am Sunday morning instead of an 11k so I don't kill my friends or rather, they don't kill me.Sally

Monday deadline... so I'll be here (at work) on a friday night for a while and possibly most of the weekend taking time out to run and swim of course.TB: Mild winter? Were you in town this week? At least we are not in Manitoba... (I know I still can't get over it. -50C!) SS: Hello my fellow fishey friend... The difference between a masters team and a triathlon team is ... fly, back and breast... which is pretty fun and a good challenge. I don't know any runners who swim full breast stroke so I get away with fly kick and use the "I'm getting over a knee injury" excuse which works for now!! How's your mom doing?
