Hi, I will be there on the 15th. Cant wait to see you guys. Truxx, can you come?

I have been doing my ol' 7k at the parc Jarry for the past 10 days... I had stopped going when Meteomedia showed it was less then -10 but since last wednesday, it's allright.

Gro: have fun skiing and thanks for the tip!

Ralf: I hope you will finally know what's up with your leg, that would be progress.

JB, hope you can make it... still 5% chance

Have a good day everyone!

Ya Roly, still planning on the Ottawa Half. I know I have a fast Half in me somewhere. For some reason I have never been able to put one together. Who else is going? I am not doing the Boreal Half as I don't want to risk my ham so close to Boston. Will do Lasalle & St. Laurent though (both 10k) as I can tolerate the pain for short distances.

Almost forgot. If running the Mountain tonight or tomorrow, be careful. Footing on the down side adjacent to the cross is sheer ice with no stones like the up side. Footing is dangerous and stopping is next to impossible.

Hey Merc,

Don't know how you do it running like hell with your injuries, just make sure to don,t push it to much. My goal is to just stay healthy enought to finally win my age group when I turn 80 in any race.

I think Sally was planning on the half if she will be ready, her trainer , won't let her do the full.

OK folks it's freaky Friday, whos running up the hill on Sunday. I will be at the monument at 9:00 am if Saturdays run doesn't kill me. I plan on a nice llloooonnnnggg run tomorrow with hills and walking breaks time to start getting use to time on my feet.

Just bought these two books from amazon

Endurance Sports Nutrition
Serious Training for Endurance athletes

I'm gonna buy this DVD soon.

Have a good week-end

Roly

Will probably do a tempo on the TM today. Too icy on the slopes.

Roly - you're in good shape this am..

Grommit - how was the skiing ?

I was wondering if it would be possible to start another chapter, don't want to tick anyone off now, but its lovely out this morning, perhaps a spring chapter - just a thought - ?

Okay, I'm out of here, I'll check in early next week to see if there are changes to the social details. Enjoy the weekend folks.

Df: We're waiting ... go ahead, beautiful ... start the new thread ...

KJ: Yay! Can't wait to see you!

Grommit: Did you manage to get any snow, or was it all mush? Hope you and the kiddies had fun regardless ...

Merc: I don't know how you do it, run on that much pain ... I'm a total wimp.

Roly: Don't know if I'll even be able to run Ottawa Half ... still too early to know ... won't be able to run until I get the go-ahead from my physiotherapist ... sniff, sniff ...

Sally
