Grommit? I thought Chops was our specialist for used cars. I want to see your car when I come next time to YUL. Yes, I am back from YVR. Back to get rain, snow and temperatures below zero. But spring is near. My leg is better in the sense that the swelling has gone. However, I don't think that my leg is good. I got an appointment at my orthopedist for next wednesday. Take care Ralf ------------------ Follow your nose

So is that a yes. Chops K2 That would be awsome, But I think you would need better boots then the ones you had in NY. SS congratulation on the new car, your gonna have to show it off maybe post a photo. DF, I like your list, Can I join you for the Pikes Peak marathon. I saw this posted in the ultra runners forum and thought it was a good ssuggestion. "My suggestion is, pick a race you want to run, enter it, do as much training as you can, and then run the race. What have you got to lose? The worst thing that can happen is you have to DNF, big deal. At least you will get to enjoy the camaraderie of the ultra scene, and have a nice long run on some trails, and consider it your opportunity to do some training for future races". My challenge right now is in July if I can complete that I will see how much further I am willing challenge myself. I would like to run a 50 miler some day.

Gro – you are such a shoe diva..I want a pic up on your blog of all the shoes in your home, office, in your car, wherever else you stash ‘em. How many pairs will there be ? I remember you trying to sell me on the baby blue for ladies last year – what is it this year - lilac ??!! Roly – Colorado, humm…gives new meaning to hill running....wouldn’t that be so totally awesome…? Sigh… Can’t wait to hear about your adventure this coming July. Ralf – spring, did you say spring ? Not just yet over here. March 1st tomorrow, yes, let the weather gods be good to us...its been so darn cold since the weekend.

Roly: I don't know ... I would be a little embarrassed to DNF in the first 10k of a race. Grommit mentioned the Triple Ironman to me again ...Ralf: OUCH!!! Df: Miss you ... too much JB: Miss you too ... DR, Omni, Truxx, RG: Where are you hiding? Grommit: I like the red better than the yellow - tell us when you get them ... Chops: Yeah, you should have come with me for the car shopping ... G was a wuss when it came to negotiation We need a March Hurley's ... any tender for dates? How about March 14 or 16 at 7pm? Let me know ASAP about your vote ...If I get no votes, there will be no Hurley's. C'mon people, work with me here a little ... Mouahahahaha!! Sally p.s. She'll be edgier once the roof racks and snowboards get added ... ------------------ "Follow your bliss" [This message has been edited by Silly Sally (edited Mar-01-2006).]

Lilac was last year and it's still great this year. Ask TB. SS: nice car! My watch is the same colour (while we are on the subject of colours). I have a physio appointment today and next week and the week after for the knee. I've been hitting the eliptical and the only running I've been doing is in my dreams. Grommit: nice shoes! PS: I vote for a "Hurleys" in a non-smoking place instead. The slightest hint of cigarette smoke irritates the *(*(#&(@ out of me. IE: St-Hubert is 100% smoke-free already... Night Out I'm good for march 14 DR Breathing in the smoke filled air is the only chance I get to enjoy a smoke since I quit last fall after the Ottawa fall colors half. Roly

I start physio today too. As for running, I can't do it in my dreams if I can't succeed in sleeping Any other suggestions than Hurley's? But it has to have atmosphere and I have to be able to reserve. Are you people more interested in a bar or a restaurant, do you want to drink or eat or both? I could always find some half decent restaurant, ya know, for a change of pace, and that would make DR very happy ... Silly p.s. Baton Rouge ribs ... mmmm ... and we would meet earlier? ------------------ "Follow your bliss"

Any advice for someone who has slacked for way to long and is EXTREMELY frustated by slow times. I thought a couple weks on would make up for a couple months off. Wrong again...I guess it's the old fashion way...blood, sweat and tears. Any chance of a group run on the mountain this week-end. I don't mind chasing.By the way did I read someone here trains at the MAA?

The 14th would be good for me but like Grommit, I'd join everyone following intervals. FlyIsa: I train there. Have we crossed paths before? TB

Come on people, we are runners, are we not? How many hours and how many buckets of sweat do we fill up per week just to be at our best? Why tear down all the hard work we do by inhaling all the second-hand smoke? I've been injured for a month now and I have to work really hard (twice a day) just to keep up a little bit of cardio fitness.Wednesdays are my physio days but the rest of the week is ok.

TB - maybe...I'm the tall one listening to her ipod on the TM...usually around the lunch hour. Soon though, I'm heading back out and up the mountain.

(must have been on loan from Hamstead) I actually discovered today that there are sidewalks in this here borough after all. I had heard the rumors.................Temperature taking a dive again. Went sailing along Cedar & Pine. Be careful out there. Protect your vitals!

Gro – glum ? – never, pas possible. Group hug ? Guess not …take care. I'm not up to much these days, physio also, told to stop what hurts - yeah, right, will have to take lessons from Knee on how to walk on my hands. Doesn't help my already impatient disposition - GROWL.Merc – thanks for the chuckle. Roly - did you manage to head out the door last night as planned ? Just looked at the forecast for the weekend, it won't be as cold ! Have a great weekend everyone, its FRIDAY !!
